today i had work and joshua had school.
abi said joshua is much calmer and nicer now that i'm back.
she said he even took her to go get ice cream one day.
and he had never done that before.
once joshua came home, we decided that we'd take his siblings out to dinner. we've never done it before.
we all went to chick fil a, it being the closest restaurant everyone agreed on.
abi sat in my lap while jordan sat next to me, ashley and josh on the opposite side of the booth.
we all ate and talked, laughing every few minutes at a funny story someone told.
it was weird to think that i might be the brother-in-law of these guys some day.
and i'll be the first to say:
i can't wait.
