today i had group therapy, and i fully participated.

jenna said the more i participate, the better i'll get, and the better i get, the closer i am to returning to joshua.

i also ate in the cafeteria again, josh's picture still sitting right beside me.

i talked to him about therapy today and how i was going through ideas of honeymoon locations in my mind.

again, no one sat by me.

so, after thirty minutes, i went back to my room and looked through all the photos of josh and i.

then, jenna came in. "hey, ty!" she smiled, sitting down at the end of the bed like usual.

"h-hi," i said. "d-did you enjoy the wedding?"

"oh my goodnsss," she grinned. "it was a dream come true. and it was so wonderful getting to meet josh! he really is as sweet as you say he is."

i smiled and nodded in agreement. "how's dallon?"

"he's great," she said. "just... we're both bummed we couldn't do the whole honeymoon thing..."

"what if you could?" i asked.

"what do you mean?"

"well, i have a lot of money saved up from working for the duns. h-how about i pay?"

"oh, tyler... that's so so so sweet of you, but i can't let you do that."

"what if we split it? you guys pay half and i pay half?"

"still," she said. "i-i can't ask that of you."

"you aren't asking me of it," i smiled. "i'm insisting. just think of it as a 'thank you' for taking so great of care of me."

"i can't get more than a paid one day of at a time," she said. "let alone a week."

"i'll get you ten days," i smiled.

"tyler..."

"please?"

"i-i mean, i-i'll have to ask dallon, b-but still, tyler. that's a lot of money," she said.

"you deserve it though, jenna! you're so good at your job and you're so nice and everything. especially taking care of me. it's a thank you for all of that. a late wedding gift," i smiled.

"tyler, that's the nicest thing anyone's ever done for me," she cried, hugging me tightly.

i smiled and hugged her back. "josh's family will chip in too, i'm sure. they're all really grateful you're here to help me, too."

she sniffled and smiled widely, pulling back from the hug. "i-i'll go call dallon!"

i heard her from outside. she was on speaker.

"dal?"

"hey, jen! how's work?"

"good. r-really good. listen, i have something really important to tell you."

"you're pregnant?!"

"no," she giggled. "t-tyler offered to pay f-for half of a trip. w-we get to go on a honeymoon!"

"aww, babe!!! that's amazing!!! tell tyler thank you thank you thank you!!!"

"i will, honey. i've gotta get back to work, though. i love you. i'll see you when i get home."

"bye, lovely. see you then. can't wait to honeymoon with you!!!"

she then returned to my room and we talked about our dream honeymoons with our dream husband's, the ones we had right now.

except, mine is still just my fiancé.

but maybe that'll change sometime soon.
