today i returned home to a very excited joshua.

as soon as i stepped foot out of the taxi, the front door to the home was thrown back and josh came running towards me with a big bouquet of flowers and a wide smile, tripping over his shoelaces but catching himself.

he tackled me in a hug, picking me up and spinning me around and kissing all over my face as he giggled.

"baby!!!" he exclaimed.

i giggled and hugged him tightly, kissing his lips with a wide smile. "hi, honey!"

"i missed you so so so so so so much!"

"i missed you more, baby," i giggled as he ran inside with me. "but we should prolly get my bags out of the taxi..."

he blushed and giggled. "oh... yeah..."

he quickly ran outside and grabbed my bags, returning and picking me back up.

i giggled and kissed his lips deeply, both of us smiling as i wrapped my legs around his waist.

we were being quite intimate, a first in a while.

he put me down a few minutes later so i could go say hi to the family, and after i did, he picked me up again and ran upstairs with me in his arms.

we were both giggling messes.

he set me on the bed and sat down next to me, not sure if i was comfortable to kiss deeply in that kind of setting.

but i was.

very much so.

i crawled into his lap and cupped his cheeks, smiling at him before pressing my lips against his.

josh grinned widely and fell onto his back, pulling me down with him so i was on top of him.

we kissed for probably an hour, taking brief breaks between to talk a little bit, but mostly just smile at each other.

"i missed you so so so much," he said, pressing several quick kisses to my lips.

i smiled and kissed him in return. "i missed you too, honey. sooooo much."

i laid down on top of him and he smiled, his arms around my waist as i kissed him all over.

who would have though three days apart would be what brought us closer together?
