joshua surprised me at the studio today.
i got sassy and said i wouldn't keep singing unless josh got to stand in there and at least hold my hand, but the producers just laughed and nodded.
so josh came into the booth with me and hugged me from behind as i sang.
the song was about him, and it was the first he's heard it.
it's called 'we don't believe what's on tv.'
there's another song i wrote all about him, but it's a bit more... romantic, for lack of a better word.
i'm saving that for our wedding.
i got the entire song, in a one-take, perfectly, in one shot.
josh is my lucky charm.
"we need someone to do the drums for the album," the producer said.
"josh! josh can to it!" i quickly said with a wide smile.
"huh?" josh asked, turning around with a mouthful of the cookies and other snacks they had out in the studio.
"you can do the drums, can't you, baby?" i asked.
his eyes widened and he quickly nodded, swallowing everything with a bit of struggle but getting it down. "yeah! yes! yes!"
"sweet," the producer said. "wanna do a couple demos?"
josh nodded, wiping his hands before going into the area of the booth for drums.
"just do whatever you think sounds good, yeah?" i said through the speaker.
josh gave me a thumbs up, smiling as he looked down at the expensive drum set.
he did some for a song called 'message man' and it sounded perfect.
absolutely perfect.
we then headed home after having dinner with the producers, going on and on about how amazing the other did.
"wouldn't it be crazy if you went on tour, ty??" josh said as he crawled into bed next to me.
"well you'd certainly be going on tour too," i giggled. "you'd be right next to me hitting away at those drums."
josh blushed and smiled. "maybe it'll happen sooner than we think."
"sex would be a bit of a challenge," i giggled.
"well, i'm sure you could fit in a bunk next to me," he giggled. "but there's no way i'm sleeping without you next to me every night."
"well, if somehow, someway, we go on tour, i'll make sure there's a bed on the bus big enough for both of us," i giggled.
he smiled and nodded, kissing my forehead. "now, while we have our own big, nice, soft, comfy bed... we should do some couple stuff on it," he grinned.
"such as?" i giggled, raising my eyebrows even though i knew exactly what he was referring to.
"kissin 'n other romantic stuffff," he giggled.
"let me just hug you a lil bit more, okayyy?" i giggled, having been laying on top of him for the past twenty minutes.
"not gonna argue with that," he giggled, squeezing my waist and kissing the top of my head.
"how's school going?" i asked a few minutes later, looking up at him. "i feel like we haven't talked about that in a while."
"good," he said. "really good. just... i dunno. it's hard to focus. especially the mornings after we have sex," he giggled. "too focused on that cute lil naked butt of yours."
i giggled and blushed deeply, kissing his nose. "well remind me not to send you anything fun over snapchat while you're in class."
josh blushed and giggled, tackling me in another hug and rolling over so he was on top of me.
we both giggled and gave face cuddles, and it all kinda continued from there.
long story short, we took new pictures.
only one of us with any sort of clothing on...
oops.
