today, josh surprised me with a fort.
he woke up about an hour before me and constructed a huge fort in my living room of pillows and blankets.
he then ran into my room and jumped onto the bed, shaking me awake excitedly. i️ was awake, but i️ knew if i'd wait long enough, he'd just start kissing me.
and that's exactly what he did.
so then i️ woke up.
i️ giggled as he carried me to the living room, squealing and clapping excitedly when i️ saw the fort. i️ hugged him tightly and kissed him all over, begging him to let us call it 'the dun snuggle fort' even though i'm not officially a dun yet.
he giggled and quickly nodded, setting me down before running to the kitchen and returning with two mugs of coffee.
we then both crawled into the fort and snuggled for hours, neither of us needing our phones or the tv on.
we talked about our futures and what we want to do with our lives. we both agreed that we wanted kids.
we were thinking maybe a girl, then a boy, then another boy. but, we don't know yet. we'll think about that more when the time comes.
i️ gently caressed his collarbone with my fingertip as he spoke and cuddled me closely, interrupting my words with kisses every so often.
after that, he rolled over so he was on top of me, both of us giggling. i️ put a hand on either side of his face and pulled him in so our lips were touching.
we made out for probably twenty minutes, then he picked me up and carried me to my bedroom.
it's always been a little hard having sex on a queen-sized bed, especially when josh's is a king with silk sheets.
but, it's about the love.
we kissed and kissed, and eventually our clothes came off and we made love gently as we do all the time.
he then collapsed down beside me and hugged me tightly, my eyes fluttering shut in pure comfort.
but, he started kissing me a few minutes later, and of course i️ can't resist that. we kissed heatedly for a minute or two, but took a break to just snuggle for a few minutes.
of course, we never put our clothes back on.
