today, joshua said he wanted to spend the whole day with me alone, feeling like we hadn't had what we call 'boyfren' time in a while.
and i agreed.
so we decided we would walk around downtown for the day, stopping in little shops and such.
momma dun paid me every saturday, too.
and that was another $200.
so i'm now making $1200 a week.
which is remarkable given where i used to be.
but, anyways.
joshua and i walked around downtown, and when he saw a shirt he liked, i bought it for him.
with my own money.
and it felt amazing.
we stopped and got ice cream at a shop, as well. and, i insisted i paid.
joshua said he would allow me to, but only if he could kiss me.
and i quickly told him he can kiss me anywhere at anytime.
so he did.
whenever someone even started to look at me, he would press his lips against mine.
he's very protective.
and i'm not going to lie.
i love it.
whenever we were looking at different stores, he would stand behind me with his arms tightly wrapped around my waist, whispering sweet things into my ear, saying he loved when i blushed.
then, we went to dinner at a diner.
we started out sitting across from each other, but i ended up in his lap about ten minutes in.
i looked down at him and he looked up at me, and for the hundredth time, we got lost in each other's eyes.
i don't know if it was just because we were so deep into the moment or if he really meant it, but...
he said one day, he is going to marry me.
when gay marriage is legalized, he is going to 'marry me so hard.'
i told him i wouldn't dream of it any other way.
