today, i bought a ukulele after i left the duns home.
i'm starting to write joshua a song.
it's called 'tear in my heart.'
i told abi i got the instrument and she got very excited.
she told me we should start doing music time after we finish her schoolwork.
i agreed.
so now, i will be bringing my ukulele to 'work' so i can at least try and teach abi.
though, she gets distracted easily.
but she seems to focus better whenever i associate things with colors.
for instance, whenever she had to remember what addition meant, she would think of the color yellow, and then she would combine the numbers.
seeing her catch on makes me feel like i'm actually doing something beneficial.
maybe like i have a purpose.
