today, joshua had to stay at school late to finish a project.
i had a big date planned.
he apologized over and over again, saying he was sorry he's such a 'terrible boyfriend.'
i told him that it was alright and he's the best boyfriend ever. though, he continued disagreeing.
he then said he had to go, and i believe he was crying. i told him i loved him more than anything and to just focus on his project.
he told me he was going to make it up to me and that he loved me as well.
i stayed at the dun's home until midnight, when josh returned. when he looked up, he saw me, and immediately tackled me in a hug.
"hi baby," i said, pressing a long kiss to his forehead as he held me.
"hi honey," he sniffled, hugging me tightly. "why'd you stay up so late?"
"so i could give you a goodnight kiss," i giggled, gently grabbing his face and pressing a long kiss to his lips.
he smiled softly and kissed back. "i love you," he said.
"i love you too, baby."
he then drove me home, where i sit now, dreaming of the day he won't have to take me home because we'll already be in our own.
the one only us live in, all alone, allowed to express our love however we want.
