tonight, josh and i went skinny dipping.

we drove to the lake and stayed at the dock the dun family owned, making dinner there since the set up was a little kitchen/living space with the boat out front.

we noticed that around 11:30, we were the only ones there.

so, we looked around before stripping down to nothing, holding hands and jumping in.

i giggled as josh held me as we were in the water, both of us unable to stop kissing each other.

"you've got the cutest butt ever," he giggled, squeezing me. "you know that?"

i blushed and buried my face in his shoulder, making him grin and hug me tighter.

after a little while, we were tired, and we got out of the water. we quickly dried off and slid our clothes back on. we packed everything up and headed back to josh's jeep.

i grinned as i saw he had set up pillows, blankets, and fairy lights in the back.

"is this for us to sleep in??" i asked excitedly.

he grinned and nodded. "mhm."

i smiled and jumped into his arms, kissing all over his face. "i looooove you, joshie."

"i loooove you more, ty," he giggled, crawling into the back of the jeep with me and snuggling with me.

we looked up at the stars as we cuddled, kissing each other's hands every once in a while just out of pure habit. and love.

a lot of love.

"will you sing for me?" i asked quietly, looking up at him as i nuzzled my nose into his neck.

joshua doesn't really ever sing. every time i ask, he insists his voice is terrible, but i say its the best i've ever heard.

because it truly is.

but, this time, he actually said yes.

he sang 'cant help falling in love,' but it eventually became us singing to each other.

it was really, really, really sweet.

i was in his lap, looking down at him as he looked up at me. we sang together, the lyrics fitting perfectly to our relationship.

"i missed you, my love," he said quietly, kissing my lips.

"i missed you so so so much more," i responded, my fingers gently threading through his hair.

i fell asleep in his lap a little while later, blushing as i heard him say "trust me, baby. i missed you more."

i love my fiancé.
