today, the duns and i went golfing.
it was honestly really, really fun.
josh and i even had the cheesy love moment where he stood behind me with his arms wrapped around me, teaching me the perfect way to swing the club.
momma dun took so many pictures, and i love them all.
he was blushing, i was blushing, we kissed, and you could see how in love we are.
then, abigail demanded she got to spend time with me. i giggled and agreed, sitting down with her and helping her count all the golf balls that were in the stack, trying to tie in some of what she had been learning in school to real life.
she told me she's 'super duper excited for me to be her brother.'
but, then she asked when i would be her brother.
i told her soon, i hope.
she asked why not right now.
we had to explain to her that a boy and a boy aren't allowed to get married yet, and she started to pout.
"that isn't nice! you and josh love each other more than mommies love daddies!" she exclaimed.
i just sighed and shrugged, walking into josh's arms and hugging him tightly.
"one day, we'll get married and get to be husbands. but, for now, we get to plan and just enjoy being engaged," i smiled, kissing josh's lips.
josh looked down at me and smiled, hugging my waist as he kissed me back several times. "i love you, baby."
"i love you too, jo-"
"HEY! JUST BECAUSE I SAID YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET MARRIED DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN JUST START KISSIN'!" abi yelled.
momma dun's eyes widened and she laughed to herself, gently picking abigail up and speaking softly to her.
"they're allowed to kiss, sweetheart."
"they do MUCH grosser things than that," jordan said. "trust me."
everyone's eyes widened. "JORDAN!"
i giggled and had to hold josh back from starting to tell his younger brother off, pulling him in for a kiss, desperately wanting to deepen it but not being able to since we were in public.
josh just sighed and giggled, looking around to make sure no one was watching a few minutes later before he grabbed me by the butt and kissed me.
i giggled and tickled his stomach to get him to pull back a little while later, but he just kept kissing me.
"i think ty and i are gonna head back," he said to his family, his forehead pressed against mine as he grinned goofily. "we'll see you guys later."
"bye, guys!" momma exclaimed, waving and kissing both our cheeks. "we'll probably go out to eat after this. give us about three hours and when we get back we can have family game night!"
josh and i just smiled and nodded, dashing to the car and giggling excitedly as we realized we'd have the huge house to ourselves for three hours.
"what do you wanna do?" i grinned.
"you!" he giggled, leaning over and kissing my temple as we stopped at a red light.
