today, i finally got to pay for joshua's meal.

i told him to order the most expensive thing that sounded good.

that i had a surprise if he did.

so he ordered a steak.

$40.

his meal was $40.

plus mine, it was a total of $60.

and i paid for it.

i finally got to pay for my boyfriend's meal.

i cried.

and he did too.

and then we went to the flower shop, and i bought joshua roses.

i finally feel proud of myself.

i'm good at my job and for that, i receive good payment.

he drove me home, handed me one of the roses, and kissed my lips.

he told me he loved me, then drove home.

and i can't stop smiling.
