"Move Matt." You push your older brother out of the way, as he's blocking your way currently.

"Ouch." Matt complains as you elbow him in the ribs to get past him. "God why are you so mean." He glares at you now in front of him.

"It's because she's short, closer to hell." Nick speaks up from your other side.

"Oh be quiet." You turn and snap at your other brother.

"My point exactly." Nick grins and chuckles along with Matt.

You roll your eyes at your older brothers and continue into the gym by yourself. You scan the room for anyone you know and spot Jay on one of the treadmills. You decide that he makes much better company than your brothers and head over there.

"Jay, mind if i join you." You grin at him as you walk over to the treadmills.

"Y/N." Jay grins just as wide as you. "Sure, hop on one." He gestures to the treadmill next to his.

"Thanks." You nod and hop on the machine. "How've you been?" You ask Jay curiously as you turn on your machine.

"Fine." Jay nods his head, jogging at a slow pace. "You're brothers still picking on you?" He asks right back, just as curious.

Back across the room your brothers scan the room for where you've ran off to while they wait for Kenny to show up for their workout.

"There she is." Matt finally spots you at the treadmills. "She's over there with Jay." He points across the room at you.

"With Jay?" Nick looks over at you happily talking with Jay. "She's been hanging out with him a lot lately." He comments.

"Yeah, I've noticed." Matt agrees with his brother as they both eye up Jay from across the room.

"Oh come on, stop exaggerating." You shake your head and giggle at Jay. "It's wasn't that bad." You insist.

Jay had brought up an instance where you'd missed the step down on your way to the ring once and tumbled to the floor in front of a crowd of a few thousand as well as a few live cameras.

"It was hilarious." Jay chuckles, teasing you. "I couldn't stop laughing." He insists with a smile.

"Whatever." You roll your eyes playfully at him. "I can feel my brothers staring at me because they want to talk to me, so I'll talk to you later Jay." You stop your machine and hop off of it.

"Yeah." Jay nods his head. "Catch you later Y/N." He waves as you leave.

You wave back and head over to your brothers on the other side of the gym, both deep in conversation with one another. You get to their side and smack Nick on the arm to say hello.

"Boys." You grin at them both, they turn their attention to you as you do.

"You and Jay sure looked cozy." Matt comments and glances over at an alone Jay across the gym.

"Maybe we were." You retort. "It's none of your business last I checked." This earns you a look from both your brothers.

"It so is our business." Nick pushes at your shoulder. "It's our job to make sure that you aren't dating someone bad for you." He insists.

"Yeah. That's what big brothers are for." Matt agrees.

"Well you two can scrap the alpha male attitude then." You shake your head. "Me and Jay aren't dating, just friends." You Pat both brothers shoulders.

"Yeah not yet anyway." Matt mumbles a reply.

"What was that?" You glare at your brother.

"Nothing." He pipes back up. "Let's just get some work done." He changes the subject back to gym activities.

You spend some time working out with your brothers, quality bonding time you could call it. Meanwhile, on the other side of the gym Kenny joins up with Jay for a workout.

"Jay." He greets his friend with a smile. "What's up man?" Kenny asks curiously.

"Not much." Jay shrugs. "Just working out is all, as you can see." He gestures to the weights now in his hands.

"Yeah yeah." Kenny rolls his eyes. "Not what I meant but okay." He picks up his own weights.

"What did you mean then?" Jay turns his head to Kenny for an answer.

"Oh come on Jay." Kenny shakes his head. "You and Y/N man." He gestures to you access the room with your brothers.

"What about us?" Jay furrows his brows. "We were just talking is all." He insists.

Kenny chuckles aloud and shakes his head at his friend. Jay furrows his brows again and sets his weights down for a second.

"Come on man, what are you getting at?" He demands a straight answer.

"You and Y/N man." Kenny repeats himself. "I know you have a thing for her." He wiggles his eyebrows at Jay.

"What?" Jay shakes his head. "No I don't." He protests. "We're just friends." Jay insists, waving his hands in the air.

"Yeah, sure." Kenny chuckles and pats Jay on the back. "That's why you are always hanging out, and laughing together, and why you're always glancing over in her direction when she's not around you." Kenny lists off a list of reason's he knows Jay likes you. "But yeah, you definitely don't have a crush on her man." He chuckles again.

"I...........shit." Jay mumbles to himself and rubs the back of his neck.

"Why do you think Matt and Nick are always giving you a hard time and glaring at you from afar. They know that you're trying to jump their little sister." Kenny explains with another chuckle and a pat on Jay's back.

You are on the other side of the room arguing with Matt about something and doing squats when all of a sudden you spot Jay making his way over to your group with a determined look on his face.

"Oooh." Matt nudges you with free arm. "Look who's headed over here." He nods to Jay making his way across the gym floor.

"Play nice you two." You perk up as Jay reaches your side of the gym. "Hey Jay, what's up?" You ask him with a friendly grin.

"Y/N, i was wondering if maybe we could talk for a second?" Jay asks you a little nervously.

"Yeah sure." You nod and set your weight bar down for a second.

You go to step over to Jay's side but are stopped by Nicks arm across your chest. He steps forward instead, with Matt right by his side.

"You can talk to all three of us." He shoots Jay a serious look.

"Okay." Jay nods, looking past both brothers at you. "Y/N, i was wondering if you'd join me for dinner tonight, a date if it's alright with you?" He asks you, ignoring your brothers at his side.

"Dinner?" You repeat him softly. "Yeah, i'd love dinner Jay." You nod your head and agree to go to dinner.

"YOu better watch yourself Jay." Nick speaks up in a firm tone.

"Yeah." Matt adds. "You try any funny business with our little sister or break her heart i'll break you." He warns.

"Oh be quiet you two." You push past them over to Jays side. "Jay's sweet." You smile at and loop your arm with his. "You two on the other hand are annoying, come on Jay." You turn and walk away with Jay, leaving your brothers behind.
