Chapter 13

Maria

It had been a little over a month since I had come home, Lucy was still here and she had decided that she wanted to move here. So we managed to get her, her own place near the estate so if anything happens so was able to get here fast. Lucy had also gotten a job at Fallen Angel, which still happens to be the families club so Lucy was the bartender there but she was thinking about opening up her own tattoo parlour. I was happy for her now that she was settled in and away from those people we worked for.

My aunt Ruby had called me earlier today to tell me that the boys were coming back from the run that they had been on, so I was able to finally see my other cousin Nikolaos. They had been gone since I had arrived.

It was Lucy's day off so we decided to head out for the night since Angela and Stella were busy doing work-related stuff.

"Do you think we can convince Bella to come out with us?" Lucy asks as I zip up my high heel boots. I had a black crop top on along with blood-red skinny jeans that were ripped along my thighs.

"I'm not sure, she's probably at the clubhouse helping out. We can always go see before we hit the club" I say as she nods her head fixing up her dress, I give her a thumbs-up as she gives me a spin.

By the time we were ready to go and headed to the clubhouse, it was already dark and you could hear the music coming from the clubhouse a block away. As I pulled up in the car park I see that some guys were outside standing around and when we got out they stopped whatever they were doing or talking about to look over at us. I couldn't help but roll my eyes as I grabbed Lucy's hand pulling her past the guys pushing the clubhouse doors open.

It was packed full of members and crow eaters aka the girls that mostly hung around to entertain the guys.

"HOLY SHIT!!" I hear someone yell before I see Niko running up to me lifting me up as he spins me in the air. "Holy fuck! You're really back!" He says kissing my head.

"Can't... breathe.." I say before he lets go looking me over.

"Who said you could step out of the house looking like that?" He asks when I look down at my outfit. I remember I barely ever showed skin before I left I was always wearing jeans and a shirt or jumper but now? I wear revealing clothes showing off much skin as I could.

I roll my eyes "good to see you to cousin. This is my best friend Lucy" I nod to Lucy.

Niko turns to see Lucy standing next to me "Nice to meet you" he says giving her a flirty smile making me roll my eyes.

"Where is Bella?" I ask Niko as he turns back to look at me. 

"Why?" he asks folding his arms across his chest.

"Because dear cousin of mine we plan on taking her out and giving her a night off. Since I know you all work her to death." I said patting his cheek, spinning around pulling Lucy with me as I look around the clubhouse till I find her walking out of the storage room carrying a case of beer. 

I took it out of her hands noticing that she was struggling a bit she was shocked but I winked at her before I moved towards the bar placing the beer into the fridge. I turned to Bella who was looking at me confused. "You are having a night off" my aunt Ruby steps in giving us a smile.

"W-what? No you guys need help" Bella says looking a bit scared. 

"I am your boss right?" aunt Ruby says raising her eyebrow, Bella nods her head in yes. "So I am telling you, you are taking a night off. Have a girls night I know you all need one." She smiles sending us a wink. 

"B-but I don't have anything to wear," Bella says, I look to Lucy who was smirking as she takes Bella's hand walking off towards the toilets. While they were doing that I helped my aunt handing out drinks to whoever needed one.

10 minutes later the guys were starring towards the hallway where the toilets were and the only you could hear was the music playing. I looked up to see Lucy walking out smirking with Bella following right behind her in a little black dress with her hair down. 

After a few minutes, everyone went back to whatever they were doing, I saw Niko just starring at Bella in shocked like he had never seen her look like this before. My aunt gives me a nudge for me to move out from behind the bar. "Call if you need anything babe," she says giving us a smile. As the girls walk out of the club Niko kept his eyes on Bella all the time that she moved. 

"She's a great girl, don't fuck it up," I say to Niko who jumps in his seat I smirked as I kiss his cheek, I started to walk after the girls till I saw someone walk inside.

Blade...

But I noticed that he had his arm wrapped around a girl, as I licked my lips he finally noticed me and stopped dead in his tracks. It hurt seeing him with someone else but I was the one that left him here without so much as a goodbye. 

Blade had moved on...

I couldn't help but stare into his eyes as he looked at me like he had seen a ghost, I sighed biting my lip as I shook my head walking past them. I heard him call out my name but I just kept walking out of the clubhouse till I got to the car where the girls were waiting for me.

"Let's get fucked up" was all I said before I got into the car, I could tell the girls were looking at me confused but I started the car up when I looked up to see Blade and Niko walking out of the clubhouse. I quickly drove out of the compound leaving dust in their faces.

I felt stupid for having feelings for a guy who never returned them...
