I look around at the familiar restaurant that I've only been to once, but it looks way different. The lights are dimmed and it's decorated for a beautiful date."Awe Andrew this is adorable, but I thought you said it wasn't a date." I say looking at him amazed. "No you said it wasn't a date." He laughs. "You called it a mystery meeting." I laugh. "You made me." He replies. "Okay fair enough. Let's eat I'm hungry." I say walking over to the table. "Yeah of course let me go get it." Andrew laughs. "Oh right I'll help you." I say getting up. "No this is all for you I can do it." Andrew smiles. "Awe thank you, but really I wanna help." I say walking over to him. "No really. Please." Andrew says. "Why do you sound kind of nervous is there something back there." I say starting to walk towards the kitchen. I hear Andrews phone ding with a message. "Damn it, it's here." He says. "What is?" I ask. "Did I say that out loud. Fine you can come, but don't get upset." Andrew says. "Okay." I say now kind of worried. Andrew and I walk to the back and there's nothing there. Two of the plates are sitting out, but that's it. "I don't get it." I say. "Yeah I know just follow me." He sighs. I do as told and follow him to the back door. Andrew opens the door and there's a man standing at the door with chinese food from panda express. Andrew takes the bag and thanks the guy before closing the door. As soon as the door closes I burst out into laughter. Andrew just stands there watching me laugh my ass off. "Shut up." He murmurs in a jokingly way. "You really got me all worried and shit just because you ordered food instead of cooking it." I laugh out. "Well yeah, I was going to cook when I set it up earlier, but it would have been all cold." Andrew says with a small pout. "It doesn't matter. I'm just happy you got me food." I laugh. "It was sweet of you to consider though. I say putting out my hand for him to grab. He grabs it and we walk back to the table. "Oh let me go get the plates." Andrew says before walking back to the kitchen. I sit down. Andrew comes down with the plates. We set up the meals and just ate and enjoy one another's company. As we finished eating it started getting late. I decided to help Andrew straighten up. As I started taking down decorations I thought about when I first came here. Andrew literally met me at my worst and decided to stay. He's always there to pick me up and I couldn't appreciate him enough for it. "Ready?" Andrew asks. "Yup" I smile and grab my stuff. We head out and I begin to think about when we started walking on the beach and how he was the only person to make me laugh when I'm sad. Well besides Colby. We exit and I look down by where the mountain is. Colby comes to mind again. I feel the pain I felt on that day come to surface, but I try pushing them away. I can still feel it in my heart. I can feel it everyday, because I feel it whenever I think of him. Fuck that feeling that pit in my stomach is rising. "Hey Andrew do you want to walk to the beach?" I ask trying to get my mind off of Colby. "Yeah sure. I'm surprised your not dying to get put of those shoes." Andrew laughs as he looks toward me. "Your right." I say taking my shoes off. "What are you doing. I thought you said you wanted to walk." Andrew questions. "I do want to walk. Well I want you to walk. Your gonna carry me there." I smile. "You want me to carry you for two blocks." He says looking at me like I'm crazy. "Yup. Piggy back rideeee." I smile. "Your crazy. Why can't we just take the car." Andrew responds. "Nooo. That's boring. Pwwweaaasee." I beg with my big brown doughy eyes. "Oh that's just wrong." Andrew says. I just continue looking at him. "Fine. Come here." He says trying to act upset. "Yipeeeee." I say jumping up. "Your such a child." Andrew laughs. "Wouldn't that make you a paedophile." I laugh. "Shut up and get on my back." Andrew retorts. I break out into more laughter. "Oh my god. No. I didn't mean it like that. Your not a child. Stop laughing. I swear I'm not weird." He rambles out trying to keep from laughing himself.
