'Kara.' You mumbled drowsily into her form shoulder. It was wet, thanks to your drool. Ugh, that's unattractive.
But you only heard Kara chuckle and slowly place a sweaty, misplaced hair behind your ear.
'Yes my love?' She asked quietly, trying not to disturb the bubble you had created on your bed.
'Hey.' You tried to burrow your head further into her neck, but her hard kryptonian biology prevented you from doing so.
You groaned under your breath, only settling when you finally found your nose pressed firm against the soft skin of her neck.
'Hey.' She giggled, the vibrations in her neck tickling your nose.
'I love you.' You breathed into her skin, trying to express your gratitude for her in this very moment.
'Love you too honey.' She purred, folding into you and squeezing your body slightly closer to hers.
'Mmm.' You hummed happily.
Your bed felt warm, your girlfriend felt warm and your heart felt warm. So you went back to sleep.
