"You moron. He's his manservant and no one important." Right after it was said, a smack heard near him and by now he was sure that he would not be able to get out of this situation with how sick he was and felt right now.

"Not to mention he is sick." There was another person who said this, and he sneezed once again as giving an unimpressed expression over the direction he could hear the voice. The reason he couldn't see them was because of him being both bound by ankle and wrist and his eyes were as bound so that he couldn't even move well.

"Then what should I have done then? He seen me and I am sure that even as a manservant he will get some sum of money at least."

"No, you're a dumbass he won't, and we should just leave him here and get away before they find us."

This was really bad, and he shuddered as feeling the cold seeping even with the blanket over him. At least they had the decency to give him some warmth. Even when the blanket wasn't doing much with how it was rather colder today. Not surprising with how it was winter.

A shudder went once again over him and he cracked his eyes open with difficulties. Yup definitely bandits. Well, he won't be getting out of this one with how sick he was. His mind was trying to figure out what to do now but his thoughts were not working how it usually worked.

"Fine but why not use him for our pleasures?"

"No, we don't have time for this, and I don't want to end up sick with whatever he has."

This resulted in them glancing at him for a moment and he shuddered as reaction and he could feel the dread coming over him.

"We might take him with us and holding him captive. Could work couldn't it?"

"No, our resources are short and one more person would not go."

"We could just give him all two days some food, or not?"

"No, I am against it as well. So, let's let him here before someone will come and see's us."

This seemed the end of that argument as well and he coughed a few times feeling his entire body relax. When they left, he relaxed for a moment but soon he had no idea what to do. He was not getting out of these binds with how weakened and sick he was.

Nor could he really think well enough with how much a headache grown. There was also the dizziness and at the same time he felt warmer suddenly but at the same time cold. His body was stiff and felt painful. Either way he knew that he would not survive this.

A heavy sigh was escaping, and he could just hope that someone will find him. Anyone was fine, heck Morgana would even better and then there Mordred too. Even after they made up so far they hadn't gotten to Camelot.

At least they made up and he could get why they done these things. His mind felt fuzzy and trailing off towards Arthur soon. The male surely wondered now where he was and probably yelling his name to get his attention.

A chuckle escaped at this imagination and he coughed more now. Yup laughing not, the best idea. At some point his eyes dropped as he felt exhaustion coming over him.

Mordred's pov

There was this sudden weird sense of dread. The kind of dread he had just when Merlin or anyone who he was friends with was involved and in serious danger. As a druid he was in tune with nature like Emrys is. This alone startled him enough to pause his walk.

His magic was feeling restless and he felt goosebumps at this. Whatever was happening was not good. So, he closed his eyes, took a deep breath in and out and concentrating on the warlock's magic. When he managed to find the direction the other was, he opened them and starting to rush towards the direction.

His heart almost stopped when seeing a person curled under a blanket that was way too thin for how cold it was outside. He was alarmed at this as it was not really spring or summer. Meaning that this person was probably someone either on the run, having no home or simply had possibly been kidnapped and left here to die.

Either option was not good, and he was getting alarmed at the sneezing, coughing and shivering that he could both hear and see. And then it hit him as he felt the familiar magic of Emrys. Of course, it had to be him. And of course, someone had left him here to die.

He let out a heavy sigh as rushing over and looking around to find one of his knights friend or the prat of king. But there was no one and it made him wonder what had happened. Surely, he wasn't abandoned by them. That couldn't be or could it?

With this he muttered a spell to make the other have at least more warmth. A sigh was heard coming from his friend. Next, he pulled the blanket around Merlin as picking him up. He almost lost his grip at feeling how cold the other felt.

His concern grew when seeing how his lips were blue and the shivers were not a good sign. He had to rush, and this was why he decided to use a teleportation spell. As they were at his little house that Morgana and he build, he heard the groan of the other.

His concern stayed as the other was still not reacting much and he could just hope that he had not been too late. God Arthur would have his head when Merlin would not survive this, or god knows what the male would do when the other died from someone abandon the other.

He was pretty sure that the other would go after the people but that without any plan. A heavy sigh went out once more thinking about this mess as he entered. Morgana instantly turned his attention to him and giving him a raised eyebrow.

"What? Couldn't let him out in the cold, don't even know how Merlin ended up in this situation." A grumbled went out and he was nonchalant as it wasn't the first time that Merlin ended up being rescued by one of them.

"Wait he was out there?"

"Yes, get a few blankets, and make sure that it's near the fireplace."

The female rushed instantly around their house and he put him down to their couch and now realizing the other reason why Merlin was not getting away. He had been bound by both his ankles and wrists. It was making him let out another heavy sigh.

He used his magic to let them be cut and soon Morgana came back with not a few blankets, but also new clothes. The female put it into his hands and turning around. He knew why and was grateful for this. Emrys would be horrified enough with him changing his clothes, but he had to.

The clothes were soaked from sweat. He also used a spell to clean the other, just as he knew that they would first need to get the male warm again. When he was finished, he wrapped him in the blankets.

"Here, this should cool his forehead with his luck he surely has a fever."

A slight wet cloth was given, and he could just give her a nod as concentrating in making the other comfortable. When he was finished all they could do was wait for the other to get back warm and hoping that his condition would not get worse.

Or else they would need to contact the druids. Gaius would be also an option but with how far away they were from Camelot it would be too late. This really could just happen to Emrys. All he could hope that the other would be better soon.
