The mission had been difficult and he was knowing that there was something off with the day of Voldemort's death. There were compulsion felt at the crime scene. Yet the only reason why he and Morgana feeling it, was because of them being old magic (him being a druid and Morgana is a Priestess) and not as the other witch and wizards.

Someone clearly had done something. It usually would have slowly got less but because of them being different they could see even now what this compulsion were for. They were there to make someone compelled in killing whoever it was directed. They were not directed to them but someone else. The reason why they got send here in Godric's Hollow was Arthur.

He explained that Merlin could had ended up there and that was why the boy who lived survived the killing curse. Merlin would be able to fend off a killing curse and this was why Arthur tasked the two to end up here.

Another reason was because of Morgana. She seen something. They had yet to tell this Arthur as even though she seen someone that looked as Emrys it could just be a child that looking closely to their friend. What else she seen made his stomach churn and they had yet to find out where Harry and the chibi Emrys had been put to these people.

This was why Morgana told him that they should head to Madam Bones. She would be able to help with her being the head of the law enforcement. She would be possibly the only one that could help to shed light where Harry ended up.

The explanation made them seethe. There was no way that this was good. Dumbledore had no right and knowing there had been a war, there was for sure a will as there had been a war. There was something even mentioned about blood wards but both him and Morgana pointed out that muggles could never protect or understand a child with magic. It would lead most of the times abuse.

Yet Madam Bones could do not much as the Will were locked by Dumbledore himself. They pointed out that it was done illegal and that they should open it as there might be someone that was stated who would end up as the legal guardian of Harry.

As they left they knew something was fishy about this and he was not sure that they would get answers out of this person called Dumbledore. Yet they had to and both decided to pay this person a visit.

"Do you think he has something to do with you seeing Merlin as a child?"

"Yes and I can tell one thing, muggles cannot be trusted with magic or did you forget what Uther had caused." The bitterness made him wince and he could agree to this. Arthur and the knights were an exception.

The only reason why they accepted it because of Merlin. Yet it took Arthur a while to get out of his distrust. The reason was Gwaine and that was because of him punching the other and telling him that he had pained Merlin with the rejection. A thing that made sense.

The moron's loved each other. Their destinies were intertwined and he was grateful that the other accepted this now. There was as well a tension between the two of them and the others. Yet at some point they all talked it out and all agreed that it had been Uther's fault and Morgeus, who had corrupted Morgana and corrupted him. Now that they were reborn, the two realized how messed up this all was and by now they finally managed to get back to how things were with Morgana and him being accepted after a while too.

A year it was until they realized they could not find Merlin not even with both of their old magic's and not even Gaius could find Emrys, a strange thing and he knew something was not right. The concern everyone held and his instincts screaming danger for Emrys made him know that the other had once again ended up in a situation that he could not get out. Sometimes he really wondered how that could be? The moron should be the strongest warlock walking on earth. He knew most of the times it was because of him protecting the others and having to hold back, but still it was ridiculous.

It took a year for them realizing that Merlin was nowhere to be found. That something had happened and this was found by Morgana thanks to her vision. This worried both of them and after explaining that they might know where he is, Arthur told them to search for any clues. That was what they did and it took them three weeks.
