It was strange to them? Her? Him? They?

All in all, there was confusion and it all started since people pointed out his looks switching from time to time. One time he has long hair acted feminine and even felt up to things that would describe him as weird. People for sure did not know how he did it as sometimes his hair suddenly goes back from short to long.

It can happen suddenly and then there is also his body deciding to even make himself have different hair color. Those also change how he feels. Meaning his hair color showed how his feelings are. Lucky for him people were understanding about his confusion and trying to be supportive.

His brows furrowed at the thought he held and wondered how he could even explain this to anyone when he didn't know himself why he feels at times not male. It made no sense after all he was born as a male or not?

Ugh, just thinking about this made him feel even more conflicted. He really was not wanting to think about his dilemma right now and to make it worse some people really were not supportive and called him out that he should just choose a gender

It was not even his fault that he was feeling this way and being treated like this made it for sure, not better. A sigh went out and he was not sure how to act towards these comments. Worse was that people were judgemental but hey at least magic was accepted so that was one positive thing.

At least not all were this way but it still irked him and he felt on his breaking point. There was no one that he was close enough to talk to and he was feeling lonely. No one that has magic was as he was and then there was the fact that Arthur had long died and would never come back for sure.

Another sigh went out curling on the corner of the couch as sipping on his tea, trying to soothe his anxiety. Trying to relax, but it was not working. Something was clearly going on and he was not exactly sure how to explain this to anyone. There was even a forum about them feeling something old stirring. Even those that have weaker magic can feel it and that was why he was on edge.

Merlin could just hope that it was nothing too bad. That was his hope, but knowing his luck it was going to involve him for sure. With this thought, he drank the last of his tea and decided to head off earlier.

Her brows furrowed as feeling a massive impulse and with a gasp, she woke up feeling suddenly awake. Whatever was going on was making her magic go crazy. Her body clearly felt the first time since a very long time rejuvenated and she felt the excitement going through her. One that she could not explain. Either way she knew where to go, without even anyone having to tell her.

Fastly she changed her clothes into a violet dress with flowers on them. It was something that she enjoyed a lot to wear and was her favorite clothes. Then she braided her hair into something nice with flowers in them and used her magic to teleport herself to the place she knew where to head.

When arriving everyone stared at her and she could feel the blush creep slowly up. It was not often that she wore a dress but today she felt in the mood for this and her ballerinas were fitting to what she wore which were snow-white with some golden flowers adorning them.

"Good day, any clue what this is?" One of the people asked and she pursed her lips as glancing at the lake.

The fateful lake cost her to lose the one person that she cared deeply about. The one person that was more than just a friend or crush. What they had gone deeper than just love.

"We will wait and see, but do not use any magic." She warned the people and they all looked at her in puzzlement but agreed on it.

After all, they knew her long enough to know that a warning of hers had a good reason. Using magic might cause trouble and they all know that she was able to stop any magic from being attacked towards her.

"Okay, so Emrys has it anything to do with the prophecy?" A young male asked her and she blinked as realizing what was going on and snorted out.

"Of course, the moron took that long..." She grumbled as folded her arms together waiting patiently for the prat to come out of the lake.

"Who do you call moron, baffoon?" The familiar voice of Arthur made her turn her attention towards the direction and blink as seeing the male wearing the clothes of this time and making him wonder how this could be.

"I apologize for taking that long but I had to figure out how this world works, and wouldn't want to cause any trouble after everything that I caused." The male shrugged at the end and she realized that the idjit had been coming back way before this and making her huff out and raising one eyebrow at the other.

"So what's up with the female getup?" The curiosity was heard and she could feel the heat rise and her hair for sure changed into a bright red color.

"Um..."

"She's gender fluid, meaning her gender switches from time to time. You can tell with her how her hair suddenly longer and her acting feminine and sometimes wearing things like this." It was explained by a person that known her since the teen was a little boy.

She taught all the people how to control their magic whenever she could feel someone not being able to control their magic and so Michael started to be taught by her, yet she still felt alone.

"Well as long as you're happy, I don't give two fucks about your gender."

Her eyes blinked a few times before snorting at the bluntness of the other. But it also was showing her that she was accepted by him and that was what made her happy.

"Good because I would have kicked your ass when you would have said something differently." She smirked teasingly and the male chuckled as walking over and ruffled her hair which made her pout.

"Really Arthur? I just made my hair, it took me ages." She grumbled out and the smirk that was given now at her made her stomach flutter and cheeks feel heating up more.

"That is why I did it. So guessing that those people have ya know..." It was said first with a shrug and then trailed off about the people that were there. She nodded and tensed up slightly. The two ended up leaving soon after saying their goodbye and the talk was long but in the end, the two got closer and that was all that was mattering to Merlin, knowing now that Arthur was back everything would turn out just fine.
