Merthur/Merlin one shot

Age regression part 3

It had been three months later since -by now his boyfriend- found out about his regressed mind and let's just say he is as protective of him as the others. It warmed his heart actually and he was feeling really happy about this. But there had been times were everything got too much and so he ended up going to his hiding space.

Which he was right now as well. It was just a bit overwhelming sometimes. Merlin wasn't sure why he was feeling overwhelmed, but he was overwhelmed right now. The only one who knew about his favorite hiding place was, Gwaine and Arthur. So that he was right now rolled together and trying to hide himself from the entire world.

"Hey, come here."

He sniffed first and peaked out and shuffling now into the arms of his boyfriend. It was just too much right now and too many people. Arms hugged him now and he buried his face into the chest of the male.

"Everything is alright. How about we go to my place and just cuddle?"

He nodded and feeling himself soon picked up. This was one of the reasons he loved the male so much. Not even once he had pushed him away and he always looked after him. And that was something that made him feel at ease. They ended up cuddling into his bed and he snuggled into his warmth.

"You feel better now?"

Merlin peaked out and nodding but going back into his chest as not wanting to deal with the outside world. Arthur made him feel safe and secured.

"I guess not, huh?"

He heard a chuckle, and this made him feel his cheeks heat up at this. Maybe he still wasn't feeling that better. By now Arthur could instantly tell his moods as well when he was still into his 'small space' even before him.

"We have time, my cute warlock."

Dang him with his nicknames. It just made him feel even more flustered and he hid even more into his chest.

"Arthur we- oh. Sorry for disturbing you but there had been some issues."

Issues? What issues and why wasn't Leon telling what issues it was? This just made him feel anxious.

"What issues? You don't need to hide this from Merlin."

He let out a sigh and with this their cuddle time cut short. Whenever there were some issues it always was like this. So that he left and sat up as looking at Leon with curious eyes.

"Sorry but I think it's better not for Merls to know."

This meant just one thing...it was something gruesome. And he let out huff as he had seen his fair share of gruesome things.

"Leon just because I have a regressed mind doesn't mean that I haven't seen my fair share of bad things. Trust me I have."

Arthur knew this and that was why he wasn't hiding things like this from him. Leon let out a sigh and starting to explain.

"The kidnapper has strike again. It was again a male."

His gut felt queasy and he wasn't sure what to do now. Someone was kidnapping people and they usually were males. The males each had the same hair color; black.

"Get Gwaine and you Merlin stay here."

He pouted at this but nodded as knowing when not to argue with the male. Not to mention that right now he was still in not entirely in his 'big space'. He watched the two leave and he was bored. This was way too boring for him.

Merlin come...

A female voice calling him. It sounded mysterious and like honey. His brows furrowed at this and he was confused.
