Merthur/Merlin one shot

It had been now around 2 years and 4 months or something since the others found out. Gwaine by now knew as well and now he had the two -scratch this- three overprotective people. Arthur was like the other two. Since the death of Uther magic was legalized in Camelot. As well as the same-gendered couples. So far Mordred and he were in contact, but Morgana was not yet.

But these two planned to soon come back. Arthur even forgives the two. Arthur by now was a bit less forceful on him with his workload. And he had been the past few weeks kinder to him. It was odd for him, but it made his heart always fluttering.

Mordred's pov (Because haven't done this yet hehe)

He was not sure what to feel about this entire thing. He had been searching for food like some vegetables as well as berries. Maybe he could even get meat from a hunted rabbit or something.

"We could toy a bit with him or maybe sell him."

Eyes narrowed now as he heard this and used a spell to make himself invisible. There was something that told him that they were bandits. It reminded him at Merlin's rant of him getting attacked by bandits whenever he was out with Arthur.

"I would say toy with him and then sell him. Right now he can't fight back well anyway."

Now his eyes narrowed even more as he stepped outside to see them having someone over their shoulder. The person looked dazed and was someone he was too familiar with...Merlin.

'Emrys what the actual hell happened?'

The person was still unmoved but soon he could see a small stiffen. This made him confused as usual, it took not that long. So that he took the bandits down and making Merlin float to him. When he was in front of him, he could see that he was a but unfocused as well. But not from drugs but from something else.

Sowy cant think tat well.

His brows furrowed at this and he felt concern bloom in him. For now, he would take him to his and Morgana's camp.

I feel reawly nausea...

Around five minutes later he heard this in his thoughts. So that he slowly put him down, but he had to help to steady him. Not even less than a minute later he threw up. Then he had to help him to pee. And he feels concerned now. It took him another 10 minutes later as Merlin had to constantly pee.

"Why are you- what happened? And why in Camelot's name is Merlin with you?"

The females rushed now towards him and Emrys suddenly burst into tears. What, is going on? Now he was freaking out and not sure what to do. So that he ended up having to give Merlin to Morgana. The female was by now hugging Merlin. And he seemed to have fallen asleep by now.

"I think Arthur and the others were with him. They wouldn't leave him alone, so I better search for them before they lose it."

Emrys had explained to him that he was never left alone but never why. That was why he assumed that they were ambushed, and he ended up getting kidnapped by the bandits.

"Alright, see you later."

He nodded and knowing that the female will take good care of Emrys and that he would be in good hands.

It took him 20 minutes to find them and they were all tense. So, his assumption had been right. A sigh escaped as he showed himself now.

"Hello, Arthur. So why was Merlin with bandits and out or more than out and slow? Emotional and looking sick?"

The swords were pulled out and he had to put his hands in a nonthreatening manner. Arthur relaxed and the others with this as well.
