Merthur/Merlin one shot

Never have I ever, escalating

Merlin wasn't sure why he had agreed on playing. It should have been a fun game. Gwaine decided to play with them have you never and he naively agreed. Not to mention that by now everyone was drunk and drunk people, not the best idea. So, let's start at the beginning.

"Let's play have you never. It will be fun. I am going to start I have never kissed a girl or boy."

Shots started to appear in front of everyone and he took the shoot and chucking it down. A grimace as his throat felt burned. People stared at him and he tilted his head.

"What there was this one girl and I really liked."

It seemed that Leon and Arthur were the only once who have never done this. And Arthur seemed to narrow his eyes at his answer, almost as if he was upset that he had kissed a girl. Like what? Freya was someone who he liked, but sadly she died. Maybe love is just not something for him. After all, she died and Arthur was the one he loved. But who would love him? A person who is a warlock, who has magic. It speaks against everything that Uther had told his king.

"Never have I been in love with someone."

Another shot was what he chucked down and this time everyone has drunk. His eyes started now at Arthur but not saying anything. But he was curious who Arthur was in love with.

"Never have I ever eaten an apple."

This time it was him who has not drunk and everyone looked at him in horror. Apples cost too much, and he was after all just a manservant. Even as one; they cost too much.

"What? I don't have the money to buy apples?"

People realized this and Gwaine frowns and he could tell that the male loves apples. So that he had the feeling that the male would say something.

"I am getting you some apples."

Of course, Gwaine would say this and not just him but everyone in the room. And he shrugged not caring. This went on for a while and by now everyone was drunk even him.

"Never hic have hic I his used magic."

People stared at Gwaine and in his drunken state he took the shoot and chuck it down. There had been some shouts and swords pointing at him now.

"What the hell? You are a sorcerer?"

He could hear the betrayal for his by now best friend, king, and crush. He froze and feeling the pain that he was pointed their sword at him.

"Calm your tits. He protected us so many times. Let him explain."

Gwaine now pulled him up and put pushed him behind as well as protecting him. He felt tears prick into eyes.

"Gwaine hic is his right. Let hic him hic explain."

Now it was Lancelot who said this, and he felt really glad that at least these two were on his side. Merlin should have known that this was a bad idea and so he started to burst into tears. Right now, he was drunk and as a drunk person, he was more emotional.

"I hic was hic was hic born hic with this."

His voice quivered and he by now was crying even harder. Gwaine turned around and let out a sigh. The pulled him into a hug and he stiffens first but soon puts his arms around on the other male.

"Shh, it's fine. Calm down first."

Gwaine was probably the soberest out of everyone but then again the male was someone who was mostly drunk.

"That isn't possible."

He winced at the words of Leon and couldn't even get something out. Right now, he was a mess and Gwaine let out a sigh.

"Shut it, Leon. I will kick your ass when you say one more word. Just wait until he calmed down enough, or you will have some issues with me."

There was now a silence other than his sobs and hiccups. And right now, he was grateful for this. It was just hard for him and he wasn't sure what to do.
