It was a week after and he showed Arthur his workplace. His boss made eyes when he introduce Arthur and Arthur had a word with this person about making, he quotes 'My Merlin believe that I am not real'. His boss apologized profusely and Arthur looked smug and soon accepted that apology.

There was still sometimes where he thinks that this is all his imagination and Arthur always had to remind him. They ended as well together and now they were a couple. The king of Camelot still wasn't that used to all the new things, like tv, the internet, and everything. It would still take a while for the said male to get used to all this. He wasn't sure what Arthur would tell his therapist, but he had the feeling that he would say something to her out of spite.

So far his magic hasn't returned yet and he guessed it had to do with his problem at thinking that sometimes everything was not real and just his imagination. Arthur always worried about his thought process sometimes. There was as well the fact that he gets occasional panic attacks when Arthur isn't there. Or just went somewhere for a few moments. Merlin just was scared that he would lose Arthur once again.

Today was his new appointment and Arthur went with him. They held hands and he felt nervous and scared now. Both were sitting next to each other in the waiting room and Arthur looked not pleased. Although he wasn't showing it on his face, eyes told a different story.

"Hi, Merlin. I see you brought someone with you today."

He nodded and the three went inside her room. There was silence at first until Arthur let out a sigh and looking straight at Jennifer.

"Alright, so I cut right to the chase, heard from my boyfriend that you said I wasn't real and that he just imagined things. I am not pleased and you caused some serious damage."

Jennifer opened her mouth but closing it again and he felt more nervous now but started to talk in a soft voice.

"This here is Arthur Pendragon, my boyfriend. And he is very real. When you look at the drawings from the time, you can see that he looks like this. I know it shouldn't be logical for you, but he is here."

He looked everywhere else, not managing to get the confidence to look at her. Arthur sneaked an arm around his shoulders and squeezed it slightly.

"B-but how?"

He could hear the disbelieve in her voice and it made sense. That was the reason how he ended up believing that everything about his memories were just fabricated imaginations.

"Magic. He has magic, but because his brain isn't shutting up that he imagining everything from our past, it hadn't returned yet. And even then it will be difficult to use it probably. Because you told him that he imagined everything because of a lonely childhood."

This time he looked up and Jennifer looked guilty now. She let out a sigh and went through her locks.

"You better don't tell anyone, this. I believe you. Others won't believe in magic."

His head tilted to the side and confusion clearly seen on his face. It wasn't really something he expected and he was getting more confused now.

"Oh come on Merlin. You should have realized who I am by now. And I apologized dearly for saying that this wasn't real the past two months. I just yesterday got my memory back."

His brows furrowed now as he had no idea who that could be. This person looked familiar, but he couldn't put it where he saw her.

"Wait is that you Gwen?"

His brows furrowed deeper as he tilted his head and trying to remember, but he just couldn't.

"Yes, I really apologize. I feel horrible now. So you finally told each other that you are in love?"
