Merthur/Merlin one shot

Age regression

So at first, I decided to make this just a Merthur but it ended up with a sweet crossover form Yugioh gx. Ships are Spiritshipping (Jaden x Jessie) and Merthur. In the third chapter, they should appear when I am not mistaken. Anyway hope you still will enjoy it ^~^.

Merlin knew he was different than others. He was not like his age and that was something that he realized rather fast. Maybe that was why others in his home village were taunting him and the only friend he had was Will. Will understood him and accepted him.

There was always as well that he was liking both genders. Even with his regressed mind, he knew this. But his mother wasn't accepting this too much. She even told him that this wasn't right. A boy can't love another boy.

So, when he had to leave, he was really sad about it and even tried to stay but couldn't. His mother wanted him to get to Camelot and he wasn't really thinking that he needed to get there. He felt like she was pushing him away.

But he went because his Mom wanted him to get to that big scary city. That was why when he was there, he decided to hide his age regression. That was what it was called, and he wasn't always showing it. Sometimes he was like the others but then like a switch he was back to his 10-year-old.  Or that was what his mum said he was at that time. Gaius was the only one who knew about this and that just because his mother written about this.

Not to mention his magic he had to hide. It can get rather stressful. And whenever it was stressful, he would just end up hiding and crying his eyes out. Until Gaius would get asked from Arthur -his master by now friend- where he was.

Another thing that made it not easier was that he slowly was falling deeper in love with the prince. It was getting harder for him. Knowing that they could never end up together and each time he falls deeper he felt more hurt. He was not sure how long he could hide it. Not when he was right now lovely dovely with Guinevere.

So that whenever he was in his 'small space' he would go to Gaius and the male would tell Arthur that he would need help. This went on for a while until one evening Gwaine found out. The male was his best friend and he had even hidden this from him. There was just something that he could never tell anyone.

And so far, none knew about this and he was genuinely scared of what would happen. Uther would probably toss him out and when he was lucky, he would just be banned from Camelot. Or worse executed and that thought alone made him hide this.

This wasn't fair. Why him? Why was it that he had to look at his prince and Guinevere being in love? It was painful and that was probably why he ended up hiding again. Tears rolling down and sobs heard. Merlin was rolled together and making himself as small as possible.

It was not fair not to mention Arthur would never accept him. Like whom would accept him at all? He was after all at times just a child. And that was why he had hidden this and that was why he was more and more depressed about this.

"Merlin?"

He stiffened and hiccupped as well crying even harder. This was his hiding place, and none should have found out about this place. It was his place when he was in his 'small space'. So how could someone have found him?

"Want to talk about it?"

Now it was nearer, and he felt someone rub soothing circles on his back. He wasn't even sure that he could talk about it.

"Dun wanna. You will not accept Merlin. Merlin knows that he is not normal, and M-Merlin wants to be left alone."

His voice soft and in a childishness tone said. This was normal, and he would always talk in the third person. It showed how insecure he was about this. How terrified really was about him finding out.
