Merlin stared blankly at the person that was right now attacking a stranger. This person looked rather good-looking, inhuman. with their snow-white skin and reddish-brown eyes that glowed inhumanly and even the body was almost alluring. That the person that was bitten was not fighting was making him know that this person had died. There were no movements, yet he also feared that this person might suddenly come back.
That thought alone caused him to shiver and fear what could happen. It was nothing new with how he saw Werewolves and all the other mythical creatures. Yet this terrified him, and he could not move with how scared he was.
"Awe, how cute." The smooth unfamiliar voice made his skin crawl and Merlin knew that this would not go well for him.
He watched with wide eyes being suddenly in the arms of this being. Merlin was frozen in place as feeling the lips on his neck. Before his magic instinct could react, he felt the being bite down.
Merlin heard that the bite of a vampire should be painful. It had been Indeed the truth and it felt as if something was ripping him apart. Yet even when he wanted to scream all that escaped were whimpers. His sight slowly turned black knowing that this will for sure not go well.
.
.
.
Merlin swallowed thickly at the memory after waking up. His body shuddered and he could feel the pull towards a direction, yet pushed this aside. There was no way that he would let himself be controlled.
His eyes looked around and he knew that he needed to leave. There was too much risk of him hurting someone. He even could feel the thirst that was almost driving almost into insanity. Yet he would not do this. Merlin would continue ignoring this and leaving before he could harm anyone.
"Wait Merlin-"He flinched at the sudden voice of Gwaine. There was no way that he could stay but the scent of Gwaine made him swallow. He could feel the thirst come back worse than before and it was nearly impossible to ignore.
"Gwaine, stay away from me." He warned coldly as fear of harming his best friend was getting more.
"Hey, I am not going to harm you."
That was not why he said it and Gwaine seemed soon to realize this, as he suddenly charged before he could stop himself. His eyes blinked as realizing what he had just almost done and instantly ran away. Yet Merlin knew that his best friend could figure out what was going on, after all, there had been attacks happening and all of those people had been drained. The farther he was away the more he felt the pull towards this person that was now his master. Not that he saw him this way but his instincts exactly told him this and it was driving him almost in that direction. Yet he did not, knowing exactly what this would do.
Merlin heard that when the turned person stays with his master, it would cause some allurement and that would make the turned do everything they want. A shiver went through his body as he did not want to end this way. There was no way that he could forgive himself when he would harm anyone. Just the thought alone made him feel sick to the stomach, yet Merlin also knows that he needed blood to survive, but was it worth it to live a life being forced to drink blood?
No. It was not worth it. Rather would he die and the worst was that he had almost no chance to end up dead. He would do it himself, but Merlin was not sure that he would be able to succeed. Maybe he should tell Arthur that the male would kill him, but also he did not want to burden this on his lover, Arthur.
Yes, the two were lovers and he knows that the man would for sure not be able to kill him. Even Uther would not do this, knowing how much his lover loves Merlin. It was why he was helpless and did not know what to do.
His brows furrowed at his thoughts and he choked a sob. The wish to be able to cry was there, but even as he tried nothing escaped. No tears were able to be shed and showing that he was not going to ever be able to cry.
