Merlin's lips quivered now. Behind his back was his wrist bound together with chains and knights were holding him on both sides. The witchfinder had been executed but Uther still believes he has magic. Arthur knew but always looked the other way around. The male had a different output on magic then the king.

"I would execute you. But I won't. You can thank my son for this. You will be banished. Show yourself once and you will be executed on sight. You have time until this evening. Pack your things and never show yourself ever again sorcerer."

All he could muster was a nod and he swallowed thickly. Blue eyes met another pair of blue ones once.  Eyes that held sorrow as well as guilt. He let out a shuddered breath and was dragged out of the room. The chains left his wrist and he was pushed away. He started to rush towards Gaius's room.

'I guess that will be it...'

Lips quivered even more, and tears started to roll down. This wasn't fair and it was his destiny to protect the prince. Stupid witchfinder. A sigh escaped as he entered and feeling eyes starting to prick. The room was pure destruction, but he wasn't stopping. He entered his old room and starting to get his things into his backpack.

"I am so sorry."

His body snapped around and he could just nod. Because he knew that when he would say something, he would end up breaking down. It was difficult enough and he tried to hold himself together.

"I know and I know that you aren't evil. You are the kindest, loyalist, and the brightest person I have ever met."

He sniffed now and before he could even stop, tears starting to roll down and he started to sob.  Arthur looked more sorrowful and pulling him into a hug. He hugged back now and sobbing into the chest of the latter male.

"T-thank you. You d-don't know how much this means to me."

The hug tightens even more and now he knew that this would be goodbye. Even when he wanted to stay, he couldn't. Where would he go now? There was no place he could go, and he was helpless now. Even his hometown was out of options. This continued for a few more moments until the hug had been left.

"Here, take it. This was the bracelet of my mother. She would want me to give it to you. And as well this. I know it's not much, but my father doesn't need to know."

A wink was given at the end of the sentence. Which made his eyes widen at this and he smiled now slightly. This made him feel happy. At least he got now some money and as well something which would always remember Arthur.

"Thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."

A sincere tone was coming from him and soon he had now that bracelet on his wrist. By now he had finished packing the magic book as well which was hidden in his backpack. He put the sack of coins as well inside and felt grateful for him. Once again it showed him that his friend was different then Uther.

"Merlin."

That voice was Gaius and he gave him a sorrowful look now. The two hugged and said goodbye. Gwen soon appeared as well and giving him a hug and saying her goodbye too. Each of the knights soon as well. Gwaine was the one who decided to come with him. The male just wasn't wanting to leave him, and he felt his heart swell at this.

Right now, they were walking through the woods and it had been a while since they walked- around four hours or so- that they decided to put on a camp. They made some fire and Gwaine was hunting for food. He on now the other hand was making a fire and searching for some eatable vegetables. Which he managed to find and as well water so that had filled up the bottle.
