He always knew that sometimes people did not like him and this was one of those. Merlin had started to work at a Pendragon enterprise, a place that looks into nature and how to stop the fauna and animals from dying out. A reason why he accepted, even when he knew that this was for sure made by the reincarnated version of Uther.

The meeting with him was well interesting. It was not Uther that hated him, even after they talked it out. The male clearly knew that he did not mean harm after all he saw him protect Arthur more than once. It wasn't Morgana and neither was Mordred.

But Morgause who despised him with Nimue. Both did not have any magic really, but they still were rather scary and worse was that he was working under the two. Obviously he did not tell anyone about what they did and worse was Arthur was yet to meet him.

The male was on an expedition in the rainforest with Gwaine and Lancelot. He was alone and knew no one. It was why they probably had sent him now into the Amazonas, alone. Merlin was pretty sure that they had lied to Uther about him not being alone.

The male seemed rather protective of him, now that he thought about it and even worse was Mordred that seemed to take in a protective streak. Which was ironic after everything they did, yet they made it up and funnily enough both Mordred and Morgana have magic.

Either way, he knew that this could just not go well with his luck. Merlin knew that in that Amazonas were magical creature's left and he dreaded going alone there. Merlin was pretty sure that the two wanted him to die, but him being immortal, this would not work.

Legit, why would they assume this works, when him not even hit by a bomb -which is by the way painful yet quick- could make him die work. He huffed out and snorted at his thoughts. God help him, when he had to fight a magical creature then they would suffer, that was for certain. Merlin will not kill them, but when he is finished with them, they will pay for all the stress and anxiety that they caused him.

"Ugh it is hot, I am sweaty, being lost, I am so screwed. Typical of me, to get lost in one of the biggest rainforests." He grumbled out and cursed the two females for doing this to him.

Merlin was stuck now almost a week without any way to contact civilization because of his phone having not even reception. This was the worst thing that could happen, now that all is needed is him getting attacked by a creature.

A sigh went out as he stared blankly at the fire that he made and decided that he might as well go to sleep, as he should be fine. After all, there was no way that an animal or creature would go close towards.

Merlin was occupied with his thoughts that he did not realize that someone or something was watching him. A reason why when having woken up in a different place at a cave, made him startle. This was definitely not good at all and to make this even worse is that something rather weirdly comfortable was smugly wrapped around him.

His brows furrowed and he blinked as staring blankly at the snake half around him. Following the snake half he soon was met with a human male half. His cheeks flushed as seeing the human half nacked. It was not unusual to have naga's wear nothing on top, but this was the first time that he met one.

They hide from civilization and that for very good reasons. Humans for sure would not let this one go and probably use them either as pets, or killing them.

"Ah you're awake, hatchling." The smooth calming voice of the naga made him swallow.

It was deep but weirdly enough there was this calm washing over him and he was sure that this came from the naga himself.

"Um, hi?" He was confused and Merlin was not sure how to deal with this. The naga was clearly not there to harm him, or eat him. When he would have, then Merlin would be long being eaten.

"I am not a hatchling and could you let go please." He hoped that the naga would let go but knowing his luck, he would be stuck here.

"Nope, I cannot let you go. You are my hatching and I need to protect you from danger. "

His brows furrowed as the tone was changing slightly. It was different from what was used before. Lulling him weirdly in a calm state. It was as if nothing mattered and somehow his mind seemed to agree to this.

"Oh, of course." He muttered and as looking into the eyes he could stare at the pattern that was pretty. The more he stared into it, the further it pulled him in...
