Arthur wasn't sure how long he could do this. It was now a week. A week without his friend. It was as his life lost his color since Merlin was asleep. But not just his color but without him, everything was deary and slow. It was boring and he wished to see him awake. It wasn't the same without his manservant.

By now; even the knights tried. He wasn't liking this too much, and to his relief, he hadn't woken up. Which he felt horrible thinking, and at that time he hadn't realized what he was feeling.

The worst he felt whenever they kissed him. His heartfelt a pang of pain and he realized that he was really getting irritated when they did. He hated this so much. Arthur hated this and he realized something...but he couldn't, Merlin wasn't seeing him like this. So he endured it and after a week Gaius came to him and his expression grimmer than usual.

"Sire, when this continues...I fear that he won't survive."

His heart sank at this and he let out a sigh. There was nothing he could- actually he was the only one that hadn't tried it. The only one who hadn't kissed Merlin. So maybe it could work.

"I see..."

That was all he could muster to say. It was painful to think that he would lose him, but he knew that with each passing day Merlin got weaker and weaker.

"Let's hope that we will find soon the person."

He nodded and was now left alone. There was something that he could do and that was why he closed the door and walking up. He sat on the bed now and brushed the bangs away. A soft smile soon adored.

"You know, I can't live without you. I realized that I-...god is this hard to say out loud. I am pretty sure that you can't hear me anyway, but still, it is harder than I thought it would be. I realized how much you have done for Camelot, and more then Camelot you have done so much for me."

He let out a sigh as he gazed softly at the sleeping male. This was not fair, and he felt guilty.

"It should have been me. But you sacrificing moron had to push me away and get hit by that damned spell."

His voice soft and held so much sorrow, so much frustration yet so much love.

"I...love you. I realized this now and when you wake up I will tell you and I will be less of a prat and lessen your work as well. And I will make you at least breakfast, you were thin. Did you eat anything at all? Like seriously, you were way too light and now your almost just skin and bones. Well, here goes nothing, let's hope that you will finally wake up."

He chuckled softly as he slowly leaned in and kissing him on his lips. He pulled away soon afterward as waiting. His heart was thundering in his chest and he almost was starting to lose hope. Almost starting to think that he wasn't the one.

That was until he heard a groan and the eyes he missed the most. The light azure eyes -that he now realized- how much he loved them. How much he adored the eye color. He couldn't help but pull the other male in a hug after seeing his eyes open. It was just too much of a relive and he felt his heart leap out of happiness in his chest.

"Finally you are awake, you sacrificing baffoon."

Merlin felt frozen but soon weakly hugged him back and heard a raspy chuckle coming from the said male.

"Come on I wasn't that long asleep."

He chuckled soon the hug left, but he gave him a tired expression. Since Merlin was asleep, he couldn't sleep. The entire week he watched over the unconscious male.

"A week Merlin. You were hit by a curse called Sleepy beauty. The only way to break it a kiss of true love."

Merlin stared at him and he knew that he sounded way off, but right now he couldn't hide his feelings any longer.
