15 - Agreements

Kageyama looked down with a frown on his face, knowing he probably alarmed and was a burden to Tsukishima. The older said he had nothing to apologise for but said he probably wanted to get up unless he was fine with everyone seeing them like this. Only then did Kageyama realise just how close he was to Tsuki, he was warm and comfortable and didn't want to move.

But he pushed himself up and stretched before standing in front of the heater for a bit whilst Tsuki got ready for practise.

"Don't skip classes today." he ordered when Tsuki put his bags in his locker.

"Of course not Your Highness."

"Stop it! I hate those nicknames."

"And that's why I love them."

Kageyama stuck out his tongue at the middle blocker before heading over to the door and sliding it open. The air was cold but not as harsh as that morning, and the sun was higher in the sky. He wondered what he would do that day and decided he would go and visit Sobo's café.

"You're not exactly supposed to be missing school either. You said you had tests."

"Yeah yeah. I'll just scrape a pass like always. Even if I try I'm never an- Oh, here!"

He put his hand into his jacket pocket and pulled out a folded piece of paper before handing it to Tsuki. It was the homework assignment. Tsuki scanned it up and down, checking the methods and answers, before handing it back.

"Good job. You only got one wrong."

"Which one?"

"The last one."

"Of course I did. That's a question on the higher level exam and I'm not taking that!"

"Yeah yeah."

Kageyama smiled a little- pleased that he had gotten all of his work right- before declaring he was heading out.

"Where are you going?" asked the middle blocker as they walked down the stairs.

"Sobo's. I want another blueberry muffin."

"So it was a good choice."

"Mhm. Though I think I'll struggle after that Manju."

"Then save some for me. I only have morning classes and coach cancelled tonight's practise."

"Why?"

"He wants us to have time off or something."

"Oh. Well, I will save you some if you help me study."

"Deal."

They split ways at the gym doors, Tsuki going off to practise and Kageyama to the café. They were both looking forwards to their study date after school...
