It took around fifteen minutes until they reached the police station. At the sight of the slightly tinted windows, the row of police cars and vans with their flashing lights, and the sombre faces of everyone walking in and out, Kageyama took a step closer to Tsuki and gripped his hand tighter as they walked in.

The warm air greeted them as they walked up to the front desk, the receptionist asking them for the small details such as name, detainee/-s and reason for their visit. After these trivial minutes the receptionist told Tobio that his sister was already waiting inside and speaking to the detective.

"The investigator in charge of the case told me to suggest having an officer with you when speaking to your parents. Just for a precaution. No need to worry."

"Right, thanks."

They followed another officer through the halls of the station, soon turning into a room that looked like an office. A few books and photo frames were displayed on the shelves and there was a desk, chair, coffee table and sofa in the remaining space. The investigator and Miwa were sitting on either side of the desk, looking through some documents whilst speaking grimly.

"Hello boys." the detective greeted.

"Tobio! Kei! I'm glad you're here." Miwa said before standing up and giving them a hug.

"Hey Miwa." Tobio returned the hug tightly and felt some of his nerves lessen with his sister's presence.

"Come on and sit down, we're just going through a few documents if you want to listen?"

"No I'm good." the setter declined, not wanting to feel the horrid feeling of dread again.

"That's okay, wait a minute alright?"

Tsuki and Kageyama sat down on the sofa, waiting in a calm silence as Miwa finished up finalising the documents. They mainly talked about the final allegations, the court sentence, and who would have custody of her brother. Tobio had already told her that she would continue living with the Tsukishimas, meaning she could continue her life and university and stay in Tokyo.

It took a bit of convincing as she felt responsible for her brother, but he had told her he really liked it with the Tsukishimas and he wouldn't hold her back from fulfilling her dreams. It wouldn't be possible for her to continue her design course from Miyagi, and he refused for her to drop out for a few years. She had already gave up a lot for him so she could have this one.

Kei could sense that Tobio was feeling tense, so he brushed his thumb over the setter's knuckles as a silent comfort. The younger male let out a sigh and leaned closer to the blond.

"We're done now. Are you ready?" Miwa asked quietly when they began to leave the office, the detective leading the way.

"I don't think so. But we have to do this."

"I know. There will be two officers in there so you will feel safer." Miwa assured.

"And you?"

"I feel safe knowing we're going to have a much better life from now on." she explained with a smile, turning to Tsuki as she remembered something. "You're coming in too right?"

"If possible."

"He is." Tobio confirmed. "He has to do the face."

"Ah," Miwa nodded in understanding, "the neutral face of displeasure?"

"Yeah."

Tsuki watched with a raised brow, surprised that the siblings had talked about this 'face' that he seemed to pull, but either way he was already trying to hold back from beating up their shitty parents. He would just stand to the side and be there for support, ready to step in if needed. But he knew this was between the Kageyamas and their parents.

"You have half an hour maximum. Is that satisfactory?" the detective asked as they reached a locked door with a one-sided glass window; peering through they could see two figures sitting at a blank metal desk.

"That's more than enough."

The officer opened the door and stepped in with the trio, whilst the detective told them to press the emergency button to get help if needed. After bidding them good luck they shut the door and the siblings slowly took seats opposite the man and woman at the table.

"Hello children." their mother greeted with a sickening sweet smile. "We were wondering when you would come and visit us, weren't we?" she asked her husband.

Their father was already glaring at Tobio, his chained hands clenched into fists on the desk. His eyes held no love for his children; instead they were a steely grey, harsh and unforgiving as he scared his son.

"Greet us back boy." he demanded, and Tsuki could see his boyfriend's shoulders tense.

"H-hello." Tobio greeted quietly.

"Look at us you brat!" Tobio flinched.

And once again, Kei was reminded of just how scared and broken Tobio was, facing his parents who he had sentenced to jail...
