75 - Bickering

They reached Ukai's shop fairly quickly and slid open the door, shivering when the heater met them instantly. It was quiet for this time of the morning, and Kageyama was happy he didn't have to deal with people too quickly. He was still mentally preparing himself for how the team would react when he showed up unannounced.

"Kageyama?"

The duo turned their heads to see Ukai coming out of the storeroom with a box of deliveries in his arms. He looked very surprised but happy to see the first year, and quickly set down his box to give him a hug.

"Hey coach."

"It's good to see you kid. Did Tsukishima drag you out the house?" Ukai asked with a grin.

"He didn't."

"I wouldn't be able to even if I tried." Tsuki stated before heading off to get a coffee from the machine.

"How are you doing?" the coach asked as he sat against the counter.

"I'm alright. Do... do you know what happened?" the teen asked quietly.

"Yeah, Daichi told me. Sorry about that kid."

"It's okay. I'm okay now, I guess." Kageyama replied with a shrug.

"You want tea or coffee?" they heard Tsuki shout from a few isles away.

"Latte!"

"Cool."

Ukai laughed at the two shouting boys, as he returned to his deliveries. He put them away and asked what Kageyama had been up to these past few days and if he thought about coming back to the team soon. 

"Only when you're ready. Nobody will pressure you into doing anything." the coach assured.

"Thanks, I've been thinking about it." Kageyama answered with a small smile, making Ukai grin and ruffle his hair.

Kageyama walked down another isle to where the meat buns were and looked at the different options available.

"Pork or chicken?" he shouted over to Tsuki who was getting his own drink.

"Chicken!"

"I wanted pork!"

"Then get pork!"

"But you wanted chicken!"

"Then get both!"

"Okay!"

Ukai tried to hold in his laughter as Tsukishima and Kageyama acted like an old married couple. When the teens returned to the counter with their hands full he added up their total before adding in a few extra snacks.

"To keep you going at school today." Ukai said before the teens began to refuse. "Now shoo so you make it to practise on time."

"Thankyou." they both bowed and waved before exiting the shop, descending the stairs slowly as they exchanged food and drink.

"Do you think we can eat all of this?" Kageyama questioned as he held up the meat buns and snacks.

"Your appetite has been getting better so probably."

"You calling me a pig?" 

"No!"

"Yes you were!"

"You said it yourself!"

"Oh so you were thinking that!"

"No!"

"I hate you."

"Hm... no."

"Excuse me?"

"No. You don't hate me."

"Yes I do."

"Nope."

"I do. I will hate you for the next thirty seconds then I will eat my meat buns happily."

"Whatever you say Your Highness."

"Saltyshima." the setter pouted, but it turned into a small smile when the blond leant down and kissed him.

Yep, Ukai thought as he listened to the bickering fading away, definitely an old married couple.
