23 - Waking up together

A gentle tickling sensation by his collarbone is what woke up the blond male in the morning. Through squinted eyes he looked out of the window and saw the sun was already risen in the sky, the distant white noise of the neighbourhood signalling people were out and about. 

He looked down and saw a sight that made a smile slip. Black hair splayed round a peaceful, sleeping face that was resting on his chest, a hand placed over where his heartbeat could be felt. Seeing as it was the weekend, he allowed himself to drift back off to sleep, holding the male close to him...

"Tsuki. Tsuki. Tsuki."

"What?" the middle blocker groaned as he rubbed his eyes, pushing himself up onto his elbows.

"Morning."

Tsuki looked down and saw a face looking back at up him with a shy smile. Blue eyes were still drowsy from sleep but looked up at him happily, making him smile back. 

"Good morning."

"Actually, it's good afternoon by now." the younger said, pointing at the clock that had just struck twelve.

"Oh my god. I've never slept in this late."

"Really? I can sleep until like 3pm."

"Of course you can." Tsuki said with a sigh before sitting up, the setter following.

Kageyama stretched his arms up over his head and squeezed his eyes shut before shaking his head to wake himself up. Tsuki watched with an amused face before making himself get up with a yawn. 

"That's one." 

"Really?" the blond asked, raising a brow.

"How the turn tables." the setter replied with a grin before holding his arms up and making grabbing motions. "Carry me."

"No."

"Rude." 

Tsuki watched as Tobio fell backwards onto the bed, seeming content to go back to sleep. They hadn't eaten since early yesterday evening so he thought they should have some breakfast. Well, it was lunch at this point. He sighed before leaning down and scooping his arms under the younger, heading out the room and down the stairs. Kageyama didn't even open his eyes, instead opting for resting his head against the middle blocker's shoulder and letting out a yawn.

"One."

"Shut up."

"Make me."

The setter partly opened his eyes to see the smirk on the older's face, even if he wasn't looking down at him. He thought back to what happened last night and screamed internally. He lightly hit Tsuki's chest and jumped out of his grip when they had reached the kitchen. He stuck out his tongue before sitting down at one of the kitchen table chairs, looking around.

"What do you want?" asked the blond.

"Hm... pancakes?"

"And coffee? I need coffee." the middle blocker added, speaking to himself as he ran a hand through his hair.

"No. Milk."

"You're a child."

"You're a pensioner." Kageyama retorted.

Tsuki just shook his head and found some pancake mix in the cupboard alongside any other ingredients. The setter just sat and watched, a content expression on his face. In a few minutes the pancakes were ready and when Tsuki placed them on the table Kageyama felt hunger strike. He looked down and patted his stomach, telling it to shut up.

"Thanks."

"No problem. I'm still trying to fatten you up."

"I'm the same as always!"

"Yeah yeah."

Kageyama huffed as he took a pancake, adding some syrup before taking a bite. His eyes widened at how good it was and blushed when he saw Tsuki giving him a knowing look. He muttered to himself- saying the pancakes were disgusting- as he made his way through two of them. After two he felt that sickly feeling in his stomach so stopped eating and leant back in his chair, complaining about how full he was and that he could go back to sleep.

"We slept for like over 12 hours already." Tsuki stated.

"I feel like you're judging me." the setter replied with a cautious face.

"I am."

"Now I'm taking it as a challenge. I bet I could sleep for 24 hours."

"Oh god."

Tsuki drank the rest of his coffee, enjoying the buzz of energy it gave him. He stood up and put the dishes in the sink before heading back upstairs to get ready, Kageyama following him. But, when he opened his drawers to pull out some clothes, the younger simply fell back onto the bed and made himself comfortable, as if he was going to go back to sleep.

"You can't stay in bed all day."

"Watch me." mumbled the setter as he got comfy.

The middle blocker stopped what he was doing, occupied by the sight in front of him. Tobio was curled up on the bed, his grip around the pillow and t-shirt risen slightly. He could see the faint hickies he'd left on the setter's neck and thighs and he recalled what had happened last night. He sighed before putting his clothes away and heading into the bathroom.

He washed his face and brushed his teeth before returning and climbing onto the bed too, pulling the younger to him so they were face to face.

"Why can't I say no to you?" he asked quietly.

Kageyama opened his eyes and smiled slightly before leaning forwards and placing a light kiss on the older's lips who returned it as softly and passionately. When the setter pulled away, he leaned forwards and pulled him back in, feeling the younger smile against his lips.

"You're addictive." he concluded.
