He sat down at the table just as Tsuki came downstairs. He saw the note too and pulled out his phone, asking if he wanted anything.

"I'm okay."

"Hm. I'll ask her to pick up some milk, we're nearly out anyways."

Knowing he should try and eat something, Kageyama pulled over the bag of Sobo's goods and took out a piece of shortcake. This immediately caught the blond's attention so he patted the seat next to him and broke off a piece.

"Say ah." he teased, grinning when Tsuki did not look pleased.

"Ah." the older gave in and allowed the setter to put a piece of shortcake in his mouth.

"Good?" asked the younger.

"Good." Tsuki agreed.

"Good." Kageyama repeated quietly as he took a bite himself.

Tsuki made sure that Kageyama was eating enough as he made them cups of tea so the younger could take his meds. The middle blocker had the last few bites of the shortcake- that the younger could not eat- as well as a bowl of cereal. They took their hot drinks to the sofa and put on a film.

"Suggestions?" Tsuki asked.

"Something nice. A happy ending."

"Disney?"

"Okay, but not too loud."

"Right, how about..."

They settled on Tangled and Kageyama said he really liked the lantern scene because it was really pretty and the colours were nice.

"And it's romantic?" the older teased.

"Yeah yeah."

They watched the film in a comfortable silence, not wanting to worsen Kageyama's constant headache. They managed to watch up to the lantern scene before Kageyama fell asleep, empty mug in his hand. He prized the mug from the younger's limp hands, and went to pick up the TV remote to pause the film to watch later.

Just as he went to reach for the remote the door bell jingled and he turned around to see his mother and brother head inside.

"Oh, be quiet Akiteru." his mother whispered when she saw Kageyama was asleep.

The elder sibling nodded and they headed into the kitchen with shopping bags in their hands. Akiteru said they had picked up the milk and that they had also brought dumplings, hoping that Kageyama would eat lunch with them.

Tsuki looked at the clock on the wall and saw it was 12:30PM. He said he'd wake the setter up and ask.

"Tobio, wake up. Hey, you in there?"

Kageyama looked at the older with eyes that said: do you think you're funny? Tsuki grinned and asked if he was hungry and the setter slightly nodded his head.

"Akiteru brought dumplings and asked if you'd eat lunch with us."

"Like all four of us?"

"Yeah."

Kageyama looked into the kitchen where the duo were putting away their shopping. He agreed but said he should wash and dress first. Tsuki helped him up and they went upstairs, but all the setter ended up doing was washing his face and brushing his teeth and changing his underwear. He kept Tsuki's hoodie on and his shorts.

"Oh, here. I found this at your place."

Tsuki took out Kageyama's wristband from his desk before holding it out to the younger, who looked at it with mixed emotions.

"I don't want it."

"Why not?"

"When I was alone, and my- when I... everything fell part when it came off."

Tsuki could see the conflicted expression on Kageyama's face, and gently placed the wristband in one of his palms.

"I think you should wear it. It's a symbol of hope, right?"

"... Okay."

When they were both ready they headed back downstairs and the smell of cooked meat and pastry met them.

"That smells amazing."

"I know, right?"

When they reached the kitchen table they offered to set it but Kei's mother brushed them off saying it was their job to enjoy her cooking. It only took a few minutes until everything was done and they were all around the table.

"T-thankyou, for all you're doing."

"Don't worry about it, it's nice to have a fresh face apart from these two. And you make Kei happy so you make me happy. Now, let's eat!"

The two teens turned red at the comment but dug into the meal. Kageyama figured if he had to have at least one meal a day then this would be it. He had five dumplings and a handful of vegetables before he was full. Everyone else was still eating, but Tsuki paused to wipe some of the sauce from the dumplings off of the younger's lips.

"Gone?" he asked.

"Yeah."

For a while the pair seemed to be in their own little world, ignorant of the watchful eyes and shared glances between mother and son. They had never see Kei so affectionate towards anyone before.

When all the food was gone and everyone was full, Kageyama accidentally let out a yawn. He held a hand over his mouth to cover it up but his partly closed eyes gave away how tired he was.

"You two can relax upstairs okay, we'll clean up here."

"But-" the setter tried to argue, not wanting to be taking advantage of the Tsukishimas.

"No buts, you need sleep. Go, shoo." she bustled them out of the kitchen.

They headed upstairs to Tsuki's room and collapsed onto his bed, complaining of how full they were. Tobio wanted to fall asleep right there but the older reminded him that he had to change his bandages and apply the ointment. Sighing, he grabbed the roll of bandages off the side and they wrapped him up.

"All done, now you can sleep." declared the blond.

"Cuddles."

Kageyama was lying down and held up his arms making grabbing hands for the older. Tsuki joined the younger on the bed and cuddled up to him until they were comfortable.

"You really are a softie."

"So are you Saltyshima."

"Ooh, back with the name calling are we?"

"No... I'm just tired."

"Then go to sleep. I'll wake you up later, love..."
