Kageyama and Tsuki headed back inside, and Sobo immediately ushered them down onto the sofa where she set down a tray full of blueberry muffins. Blue eyes widened at the sight of them, and then winced as he felt a grumble in his stomach.

"You must be hungry. Have as many as you want." Sobo said with a ruffle of Tobio's hair before she returned to the kitchen, making a new batch of cookies and shortbreads.

The setter reached and placed the back of his palm against the muffins, making sure they weren't too hot before he picked one up. They smelled amazing and he began to feel a little hungry. He took a small bite of the little cake and he looked down it with surprise. Was Sobo's baking always this good?

He took another- and bigger- bite before asking the middle blocker if he wanted one.

"I'm good, thanks. Sobo cooked me up an entire breakfast. There was enough for an army."

But, he still accepted one piece from the younger, and smiled as he watched the male eat two muffins before feeling full. Kageyama leaned against the back of the couch and held onto his stomach, feeling like it was going to explode. It wasn't even that much food, but then again he hadn't been eating that much.

"Are you going to-"

"Maybe." the setter interrupted as he frowned at the unsettling feeling in his stomach.

Tsuki pulled the younger into his lap and rested his hands over the setter's, thinking of starting a random conversation to take Kageyama's mind off of throwing up.

"Did you know there were more than 700 species of dinosaurs?"

Kageyama looked up at him with a raised brow before laughing.

"Are you distracting me?" he asked with a teasing smile.

"Yes. Now let me geek out about dinosaurs."

"Okay, okay, go ahead."

"Okay, so the word dinosaur was created by Richard Owen, an English palaeontologist. Dino is Greek and comes from the word deinos which means terrible; saurus comes from the Greek word sauros meaning lizard. So dinosaur means terrible lizard. Kinda stupid but whatever, it sounds cool."

Kageyama laughed again, loving the serious yet animated look on the blond's face as he talked about dinosaurs. His eyes didn't stray from Tsuki as he talked, and he was soon distracted from his stomach by the fascinating world of dinosaurs.

"Then the biggest dinosaur was the Argentinosaurus which was 8meters tall and 37meters long. It was estimated to have weighed around 100tonnes so basically like 15 elephants."

"Wow, it must have had big shits."

Tsuki looked down at Kageyama with an incredulous face, stunned that that was the only comment Kageyama had made in the past ten minutes. Kageyama looked up at him totally serious about his point and Tsuki couldn't help but laugh.

"That's your only response."

"It's valid!"

"Honestly I've never thought about that."

"Now it's something to think about."

"I don't think I want to."

"I bet it smelled so bad. Like shits as tall as you. Imagine a shit the same size of you, it would kill."

Tsuki was amused by the setter, but was glad that he acted more animated than he had in a while. He continued to talk about dinosaurs and Kageyama had to admit they did sound pretty cool. But, they were interrupted by the doctor, wanting to speak to Kageyama.

Kageyama unconsciously took hold of Tsuki's hand and Tsuki suggested that they could speak to him where he was. The doctor nodded and sat down on the armchair before they spoke.

"I'm suggesting that you change your bandages and apply an ointment I'm going to prescribe to you onto your neck and ankle twice a day, morning and evening. Keep those bandages on your wrists as long as you need. I'm also going to prescribe you some tablets for anxiety and anti-depressants, as well as a strong multivitamin you should take twice a day too. Also, I want you to try and eat at least one full and wholesome meal a day. Any other snacks are encouraged. We will have another appointment in one month where we will review your progress."

Kageyama just looked at them silently, recollecting everything they had just said.

"I understand that was a lot to take in, would you like me to go over it again?"

The setter nodded, and Tsuki made notes of everything they had said onto his phone so they couldn't forget. Pills for vitamins, anxiety and anti-depressants alongside one meal a day at least. Change bandages, apply ointment twice.

"Take it easy for the next week or so, and don't get too worried about your sleeping habits, the pills should help with that too. Oh, I've also prescribed a bottle of sleeping pills to be used only when you absolutely can't sleep. Okay?"

"Yeah... thanks."

The doctor smiled and held out his hand for Kageyama to shake. The setter looked at it warily before shaking it only once before pulling away.

"Then I shall take my leave. Good afternoon boys and thankyou ma'am."

"Thankyou." Sobo repeated as she let the doctor out.

"We should also be taking our leave. Kageyama, I will be in contact soon for another discussion about possible therapy sessions that would-" the psychologist stopped as the boy turned pale. "I will be in contact. Do take care of yourself, you too young man."

Tsuki bowed his head towards the psychologist as they headed out, and the police offer took the empty armchair.

"Thankyou for speaking to me." they nodded to Tsuki. "And I want you to know we're putting together a case against your parents as this is the second time severe abuse has been reported. Do you have anywhere to stay?"

"With me." Tsuki answered before Kageyama could even speak; and the younger looked at him with an unreadable expression.

"Very good. It will be good to have friends around you at this time. Stay safe and take care of yourself Kageyama. Thankyou ma'am."
