But Kageyama couldn't sleep no matter how much he wanted to. And so- because he didn't want to take the sleeping pills yet- they went back downstairs and watched the end of Tangled.

When that had finished the younger said his head was hurting, and he ended up collapsing from the pain and exhaustion when he stood up. Tsuki had had enough practise with the setter passing out to know what to do but that didn't mean each time his his heart didn't almost leap out of his chest. He carried him upstairs and lay him down on his bed, looking over at the clock...

3PM...

4PM...

5PM. There was a loud knock at the door.

Tsuki looked up from where he was sitting at his desk, finishing up the homework assignment his teacher had sent out yesterday. It was simple grammar so it was easy enough to finish up. But it was the length of the work that annoyed him. Really, who needs to practise grammar for 10 pages? The answer is nobody.

He pushed his chair out from under the desk and stood up, giving a quick look to the sleeping male before heading downstairs.

"I've got it."

He had just reached the bottom of the stairs when he saw his mother opening the door. He sighed and leaned against the wall where he could watch the interaction.

"Hello, can I help you?" his mother asked.

"Hello Ms.Tsukishima, I'm sorry for the intrusion but we're from the Karasuno volleyball team which Tsuki and Kageyama are on."

"Oh, I see! Are you the captain?"

"Yes ma'am. My name is Daichi. We were hoping we could see your son and Kageyama. We wanted to see how they were doing."

"Wah, how nice you are! Kei is so lucky to have boys like you on the team, he's always so closed off and blunt but you seem very nice. But I think my son is doing homework right now and Kageyama is asleep because he-"

His mother cut herself off, not wanting to be too overwhelming on the boys.

"Is that really what you think of me?" Tsuki asked, a fake hurt look on his face.

"Oh no dear, I was just- Oh you!" she exclaimed when she saw the mischievous glint in her son's eyes.

"I've finished everything so you guys can wait in here, I don't really care. "

"Thanks!" Noya and Tanaka shouted before everyone came inside. Luckily the Tsukishima household was quite spacious so everyone found sofas and chairs to sit on.

Akiteru saw his mother welcoming everyone in and thought it would be best to give them some space. He grabbed his keys and headed out, saying he was going shopping.

"But we just-"

"That's his way of saying I'll get out of your way." Tsuki explained as he went into the kitchen for some coffee.

"Oh, then I'll do the same. I think I'll go and visit auntie. I bet she'd like that."

"Mhm."

His mother told the team to make themselves at home before she headed out, reminding her son to have some dinner.

"Will do."

He let out a sigh once the door shut for a second time. He loved his family but sometimes they were too much. The blond finished making his coffee before grabbing a shortcake and heading into the living room. The team were sharing looks between then as if silently debating who should ask their questions first.

"Just ask your questions before you forget them."

"Where's Kageyama?" Suga asked.

"Upstairs."

"Why?"

"He collapsed."

"What! Why?" Hinata asked loudly.

"Concussion."

"When will he wake up?"

"Probably soon. He's been passed out for three hours or so."

"Has he been eating?" asked Tanaka.

"A little."

"Has he taken his meds?"

"Yeah."

"What were they again?"

"Anxiety, antidepressants and vitamins. Sleeping pills if its gets worse."

"Right."

"Is... has he been okay?" asked Daichi. "You told us about what happened up until yesterday when the visitors left but not after. I would've thought he-"

"Started shouting?" Tsuki interrupted. "Ranting? Screaming?"

"Yeah."

"Oh he did."

"At who?"

"Himself. Apparently he thinks he doesn't deserve the help people have been giving him. He doesn't think he deserves that the team cares about him or that he should keep living when clearly his life is only full of suffering. I told him that was a load of bull." Tsuki added taking a drink of his coffee.

"Blunt much?"

"Hm."

"He's staying here, right? For a while?"

"Yeah. But he didn't like that idea at first."

"Why?" Hinata asked, then realising when the middle blocker gave him a raised brow.

"He won't be coming to school any time soon will he?"

"No."

Suga seemed like he wanted to ask another question, but Tsukishima's phone went off. He took his phone from his pocket and saw a text from Kageyama.

King 👑: Who's downstairs?

Tsuki got up and put his mug in the sink before heading to the stairs, asking them to wait five minutes.
