With wide eyes he turned around and saw Hinata standing there with worry on his face saying he was sorry.

"I didn't know you'd jump like that. I'm so sorry." he whispered, knowing Kageyama was still suffering from headaches.

"It- It's fine." the setter managed to get out before taking a few deep breaths to remind himself he was safe and nobody was going to try and hurt him. "Let's go."

The duo left the classroom and headed to the grass field at the back of their school. Hinata continued to say sorry but Kageyama said it was really fine and not to worry.

"Sorry for reacting like that, it must have worried you." the setter confessed, looking down with a sad expression.

"No! Don't say things like that, it was my mistake."

"... Okay."

As they arrived at the field they saw Yamaguchi and Tsukishima were already there. The four settled into easy conversation as they ate lunch, talking about all sorts of things. Well, Yamaguchi and Hinata spoke a lot, Tsuki was just worried by the expression on Tobio's face.

"You okay?" he asked quietly.

"Yeah, just had a little surprise earlier."

"Surprise?"

"Hinata just tapped my shoulder saying it was dinner- I didn't notice since I was focusing on finishing the question- and I jumped a little."

"He did?" the blond asked quietly, giving an annoyed glance to the ginger who turned red.

"It's okay. I calmed myself down." Kageyama assured. "Oh, I got a question right in class this morning!" He decided to change the topic to something positive, not wanting his friends to get in a bad mood because of him.

"You did? That's great, I'm proud."

Kageyama blushed a little at the small smile on the older's face, and told him to not sound so surprised.

"I'm not surprised. But hearing you were focused on your work is new. I think I am a good influence."

"That's what I said." Hinata said with a grin.

"I feel so devalued right now." Kageyama said jokingly, and yet they were all quick to assure him he was valued and they know he is smart.

A small smile appeared on Kageyama's face, one he looked down to try and hide, so they settled back into their conversation. Kageyama managed an onigiri and carton of milk before he said he was full. It was more of a snack than a meal, but he was still a little anxious about being back that he couldn't eat much else. Tsuki ended up holding his hand at some point, he must have been too focused on eating and listening to notice. He didn't push it away, instead entwining their fingers together and resting his head on the blond's shoulder.

"Tired?" asked Tsuki.

"A little. How long do we have left?"

"Twenty minutes. Do you want me to wake you up?" Tsuki asked quietly as Kageyama shut his eyes.

"Hm."

And in a few minutes the setter was fast asleep, body relaxed yet hand still holding onto Tsuki's. The older maneuvered them a bit so Kageyama was leaning on him more: his head on the front of his shoulder so his neck wouldn't ache and side leaning against his torso.

"He looks so peaceful when he sleeps." Hinata stated as they spoke a little quieter.

"Hm." Tsuki agreed.

"He's been sleeping better right?" Yamaguchi asked.

"Yeah. Most nights he gets a few hours sleep but if he can't he sleeps in the day."

"And, um, his..." the ginger paused, pointing to his head.

"As good as it could be?" the blond replied, but even he looked unsure. "He still gets panic attacks and night terrors, and sometimes his mood is seriously low, but he seems a little happier day to day."

"That's good." the freckled teen agreed. "And has he taken anymore sleeping pills? He was so cute when all drowsy." he added with a grin.

"A few times. He is impossible to deal with when he wakes up." Tsuki tried his best to sound annoyed but the fond look in his eyes as he looked down at the sleeping teen gave him away.

They continued their conversations, and when the bell rang Tsuki gently woke the setter up, knowing not to do anything too fast. He gently squeezed Tobio's hand and ran his other hand through his hair, knowing the gentle touches were enough to wake him up. Kageyama frowned and tensed up a little before he let out a long sigh and opened his eyes, hearing the bell go a second time.

"Feeling okay?" the blond asked quietly.

"Yeah. Let's go."
