They walked into Tsuki's house and slipped up the stairs and into the blond's bedroom without alerting his brother, thankfully. Once they shut the door, Kageyama grinned at the relief on Tsuki's face.

"I can never be too careful."

"Clearly." the setter agreed, laughing a little at the serious face as he sat down on the bed.

Tsuki sighed and got changed out of his uniform, deciding to go and have a shower. Kageyama nodded and he went on his phone for a while, answering texts from Hinata and Suga asking how he was doing. He would get these messages every so often from different members of the team; they did it even before he was in this mess. It made him question if it was because they cared for him or if they felt like they had to.

Kageyama wasn't one for starting conversations, nor was he that great at speaking to people about things like emotions, especially when he struggled to understand and cope with his own at times due to how negative they were. So now- when their messages had become more frequent- he didn't know if they were just messaging him because they felt bad. He would understand if they did; maybe they wanted him to get better so he could play again and help the team win more matches. Maybe...

"What's with that face?" Tsuki asked as he re-entered the bedroom in shorts and a hoodie, drying his hair with the towel.

"What face?" the younger asked as the blond joined him on the bed.

"That face."

"This is my face?" he replied, confused.

"I mean, why did you look so sad?"

"I did?"

Tsuki saw the general bewilderment on the setter's face, so he let the topic go and put his now damp towel in the washing basket. He then joined the setter atop the bed covers and pulled his laptop from his desk onto the bed. They scrolled through a few movies before deciding on Insidious.

"Fan of scary films?"

"I guess." Kageyama answered. "I mean, I like watching them but I hate things like jump scares."

"Are you going to use this as an excuse to cuddle you touch-deprived mammal?"

"Maybe." the setter muttered as he made himself comfortable in Tsuki's side.

Pressing play, Tsuki also made himself comfortable and wrapped one arm around Kageyama's waist. He subconsciously traced the area hidden by his t-shirt, and the simple yet natural action helped the setter to relax. As the movie progressed, Kageyama ended up with one hand gripping onto the blond's hoodie, knowing something crazy was going to happen soon. The suspension was too much, and even though he tried to keep his cool demeanour, he ended up turning away from the laptop screen.

"The suspense is killing me." he whined. "Why can't the demon thing just-"

His eyes widened and he froze as he watched the demon appear in the scene, its presence and appearance surprising him. He swore under his breath and shuffled closer to the older, who welcomed the embrace. It was scary but he couldn't take his eyes away.

As the movie progressed and grew more intense, he found he didn't want to watch it anymore. But- as he was about to ask if they could watch something else- the main action happened. The man and his son were running through the shadows, spirits surrounding and following them. And just when everything was back to normal, a hint at the end of the film suggested there was more to come. It faded to black.

"So, what did you think?" asked Tsuki.

"I don't want to watch it again. But I want to know what happens next. But the faces were scary. I think I'm not gonna be able to sleep."

"I like it."

"Of course you do." the setter said with a sigh.
