"You know," began Tsuki, "I think that test yesterday really took a toll on you."

"Maybe." replied Kageyama quietly.

"Will you be up to going to school tomorrow?"

"Maybe."

"Here." The middle blocker leaned over the bed to get the hot drink from the bedside and placing it in the setter's now-cool hands. "It's a green tea. I thought it would give you some energy."

Kageyama looked down at the cup in his hands for a while; sitting behind, the blond couldn't really see his facial expression. If he could then it would be one of resignation and sadness.

"Please Tobio." he whispered, laying his forehead on the setter's shoulder. "You have to have something."

Lifting the drink up to his lips, the setter took a small sip before pulling away and wincing at the heat. He took off the plastic lid and the steam trapped inside rose up and made his face warm. It smelled amazing and it brought a small smile to his face.

Tsuki looked up when Kageyama began to drink the tea. He wanted to get the muffin as well but didn't want to overwhelm him. Honestly, he was concerned:

First, Kageyama had gone from no sleep to too much sleep; when he did sleep it didn't seem to matter at all. Second, he had definitely lost weight. The curry buns he had eaten yesterday- a total of five- he had a feeling had not been kept down and even when he ate anything else it was in small portions that did nothing to provide nutrients for his body. Third, he'd started to worry that the setter was beginning to get depression, or that depression was coming back. When he was first turning up tired and late to practise, Kageyama was still excited to play volleyball and was his usual self. But now he didn't seem to have any passion or interest in anything; taking care of himself was becoming a chore too.

He really needed to find a way of getting the help that Kageyama needed before it was too late. He couldn't stand the thought of the boy he loved-

What? Wait... yes. He loved him. He loved Kageyama.

He hugged Kageyama tighter and placed a soft kiss against the nape of his neck. He heard a small gasp of surprise come from the younger and decided to kiss him their again, smiling at the faint blush appearing on the setter's pale cheeks.

"I love you." he muttered into Kageyama's neck as he placed another kiss.

His mutters were quieter than whispers, and with each soft kiss he placed on Tobio's neck, the amount of times he repeated it. He knew if the younger heard what he said and knew how he felt then he would push him away, not wanting him to have to deal with what he was going through.

When he had confessed how sorry he was about the way he had treated Kageyama back at the start of high school, he could see the flashes of pain and anxiety in his cerulean eyes that he quickly oppressed. When the younger told him to shut up and said he made him feel happy, that regret was replaced with warmth and joy and the desire to help make that pain hidden inside Kageyama go away forever.
