21 - I can't help teasing you!

Tsuki switched off the hairdryer and put it in the bathroom to cool down. When he re-entered his bedroom he found the setter was lying on his bed, head on his pillow and eyes almost shut.

"You look like a cat." he stated.

Kageyama was curled up just as a cat would; he looked down at his position before looking over at Tsuki and hissing quietly.

"You've lost it. I knew this day would come."

The setter softly laughed, a content smile on his face. Tsuki resumed his position on the bed, picking up his book and headphones. Kageyama turned to face the middle blocker, reading the title of the book and frowning at all the long words. He then looked at what music the older was scrolling through. Pushing himself up onto his elbow, he caught the attention of Tsuki.

"Want to listen?" he asked and the setter nodded.

He pressed play on the phone and left his headphones on the side, leaning against the pillows as he read. Kageyama resumed lying down and looked up at the ceiling, listening to the music. The song was called Ocean Eyes by Billie Eilish. He had to admit that the songs Tsuki listened to were very nice and relaxing. He lightly hummed along to the melody and sang a few of the lyrics.

"mhm... falling into those ocean eyes..."

"You have a nice voice."

Kageyama hadn't realised he was singing along and turned red at the compliment. He shook his head in disagreement.

"Hey, I'm serious."

"You're not normally one for compliments."

"I give them when I mean them."

The setter turned on his side to face the older and looked up at him, causing golden eyes to move away from the book and focus on him. Tsuki pressed the pause button on his phone, the music falling silent.

"Thankyou. It means a lot, you know, you helping me. I mean, you didn't- you don't have to so I didn't- don't want you to think I was taking advantage of you. Not that I would! I wouldn't- it's just that-"

He was cut off from his ramblings by soft lips pressed against his own. He immediately melted into them and kissed back gently. When Tsuki pulled away he looked down at the younger with a soft smile.

"You don't have to apologise. Plus you're really bad at it."

Kageyama hid his face with his hands and said that he was trying his best here. He heard Tsuki laugh and the middle blocker pulled his hands away to see a blushing face. He could see Kageyama was trying to figure out what to say but seemed to be struggling; he watched his mouth open and close, his lips trying to form words but failing.

"You're letting those lips go to waste doing that."

"Boke." muttered the younger, huffing and causing a few strands of hair to shift away from his face.

"Now insults is a language I can work with."

"Shut up."

"Make me." the older dared with a smirk.
