"Hungry?" the blond asked as he leaned against the counter, watching as Tobio's eyes widened at the cooking.

"Yeah. Do you like Miwa?"

"She's nice, funny too. And a great cook."

"I know right! I'm glad you like her."

Tsuki nodded and leaned over the setter to turn the hob down a little, letting the curry cook through just a little more. When he pulled back he saw a thoughtful expression on the younger's face and asked what he was thinking about. Kageyama sighed before tugging on the middle blocker's shirt. The blond opened his arms and the setter walked into them, wrapping his arms around Tsuki's back.

The older huffed with a smile before placing a quick kiss atop Kageyama's head as he returned the hug.

"You okay?" he asked.

"Earlier... were you serious?" the younger asked quietly.

"Earlier? Oh, about us you mean?"

"Hm."

"Well..."

Kageyama looked up at the blond, resting his chin against Tsuki's chest as he looked up at him. He watched as one of the blond's infamous smirks appeared on his face and he huffed, waiting for a response.

"Pouting doesn't help when you say you aren't cute."

"Tsuki." the younger whined.

"But yes, I was being serious. If you want to, that is."

"I- I want to. It's just that..." he dwindled off, moving his gaze away from the golden eyes looking at him expectantly.

"You think I can do better." Tsuki finished for him.

"Yeah..."

"Tobio, I don't want better. And I don't think there is much better than you."

Kageyama blushed and hid his face in the older's shoulder, muttering about how he should warn him when he says things like that. They were both in their own little world that they had forgotten Miwa was in the room, watching from the corner of her eye as she set the table. Once it was all done she stirred the curry one last time before announcing it was done. The two boys seemed to realise that she was there and shared an embarrassed look- but with smiles on their faces- as they separated and sat down for dinner.

"Thankyou for the meal."

The three of them helped themselves to the curry. Miwa was concerned at the small portion her brother put into his bowl, but she saw Tsuki was impressed by it. She then remembered how he had explained earlier that afternoon- when she was texting the teen about how to get to his house- that the doctor demanded one full meal and anything else was encouraged. So the fact Tobio was attempting to eat at all was a good thing.

"How is it?" she asked, before she took a mouthful herself.

Kageyama had a spoonful of the curry and he looked down at it for a while, so long that she was worried that it wasn't good. But a smile appeared on his face.

"It's really good Miwa."

"Brilliant!" she exclaimed, then said a little quieter. "You have to thank Tsukishima here too, he is a great sous-chef."

"Thanks Tsuki. You too Miwa."

"Anytime, now let's dig in."

It was a nice mealtime. All three got into conversation about school and TV shows and things they'd gotten up to. When Tobio told Miwa he scored an A- on his maths exam she almost cried from wonder and joy.

"You must have worked so hard."

"I had some help." said the youngest, giving a glance to the blond.

"You just needed a push in the right direction, you're actually quite smart."

"Thanks Kei."

Tsuki heard Tobio's mumbling and gave him a wink when Miwa was busy with her food; he smirked when the setter blushed.

As they were finishing up the door opened and in walked Tsuki's mother.

"I'm back." she greeted, but paused as she entered the kitchen. "Two Kageyamas?" she asked, surprised by the similarities between the boy and girl.

"I'm his sister, Miwa. It's nice to meet you. Thankyou for letting Tobio stay here with you."

"Oh dear, that makes sense. You both look so alike! And it's no problem, Kageyama is lovely to have around."

The two women hit it off and began to talk about all sorts of things. Tsuki watched this with a content expression, but when he turned to see what Kageyama thought, he wasn't there. He looked over to the stairwell and found the male was heading up them. He didn't think the his mother nor Miwa would notice if they left so he left the table and followed the younger.
