They had to return to class but promised to see each at lunch. Kageyama zoned out in his lessons, tracing lightly over where Tsuki had brushed his knuckles, that small yet comforting gesture brought a faint smile to his face. Hinata looked over from his seat and saw Kageyama looked happier so that made him happy too.

Tsuki continued his studies as usual: finding everything too easy and finishing his work quickly. His teacher noticed he had finished the work and came over to mark it with a smile on her face; she said he had done very well and let him head out early. Well, there were only ten minutes left anyways so he went to the bathroom before making his way to Kageyama's class. He put his headphones on as he leaned against the wall, looking down at his phone and shuffling through songs.

The bell pierced through his music and students emerged into the halls once more, some heading for the cantine or some to see their friends. He looked up and took off his headphones as the door slid open and Kageyama came out first. He put a hand over his mouth to stifle the yawn and gave a small wave to the middle blocker.

"Hey." the setter muttered as he drew a long sigh.

The blond moved closer and looked concerned.

"You look exhausted." he stated, looking cautiously down at the younger as they headed to their spot that morning.

"And I didn't do anything. God, I'm so pathetic." he added with a small laugh as he ran a hand through his hair.

"You're not." Tsuki replied. "You're just going through a lot right now."

The setter looked up and gave the blond a grateful smile before looking down and blushing a faint rose. Tsuki followed his gaze and saw what he was looking at, smirking before joining their hands together, entwining their fingers. Kageyama turned red and hid his face in the middle blocker's shoulder, causing the older to quietly laugh.

They began to head down the stairs to get some peace and quiet when Kageyama paused in his tracks. Tsuki was a step below him and turned around to see why the setter had stopped. He saw Kageyama let out another yawn but was also frowning. When he put his hand down, his balance seemed to go with it. His eyes fluttered shut and he fell forwards.

The bond's eyes widened and he reacted quickly, managing to grab the younger's arms and hold him upright against him.

"Tobio?" he called out when he saw those blue eyes slowly open. Thank goodness.

"..." the setter looked at how close he was to the middle blocker and realised how tired and cold he felt. "What just-"

"You just passed out. Are you feeling okay?" Tsuki asked, worry in his eyes.

"Y-yeah... I just feel tired."

Tsuki made sure that Kageyama could stand by himself before slowly moving his hands off the younger's arms. But the setter moved closer and wrapped his arms around his neck, pulling him into a hug and hiding his face in his neck.

"Sorry." muttered Kageyama.

"Don't be." the older replied, returning the hug and placing a light kiss atop the black locks under his jaw. "I think a whole day back was a little adventurous."

The setter laughed softly before pulling away.

"Do you have lessons this afternoon?"

"Yeah."

"Then you're not skipping."

Tsukishima looked at the determined expression on the setter's face, knowing he wasn't going to let him skip class just because he was tired.

"Alright, but I'm going to take you to my place."

"Are you-"

"Sure? Yes."

Nodding his head, Kageyama re-joined their hands and they walked outside. They checked for any watching teachers before slipping out of the school gates and beginning the walk to Tsuki's house. They didn't notice two sets of eyes watching them with small smiles, grey and brown hair alongside each other.

"We have our secret so they can have theirs."
