part 1

y/n is seventeen years old she lives with her mom and sister her dad is no longer in the picture due to him passing away when she was four her sister name is aya and she's fifteen leaving only a two year age gap between them today was the first day of senior year for y/n she excitedly jumped out of bed and went into the shower getting cleaned up and ready for the day after she was done she got out putting on a yellow and black tube top with a plaid yellow and black mini skirt and her checkered vans that were also yellow and black after that she let her curls gently lay on her shoulders and she grabbed her purse and phone walking downstairs and sitting at the table eating the breakfast her mom had laid out

Y/m: so are you ready for your first day of senior year

she says almost bouncing up and down in her seat and smiling big at y/n

Y: yes i'm pretty excited hoping i meet some new friends this year
Y/m: i'm sure you will maybe you'll even find a boyfriend
Y: ugh mom no i don't want a boyfriend
Y/m: but you've been single for so long
Y: and i'm keeping it that way

i stopped talking to avoid any further conversation with my mom she talks about me having a boyfriend nearly everyday i've never had one before so she's very eager on finding me one she also dreams on having grandchildren but my virginity seems to be the only prize possession i have so i'm not letting it go that easily anyways i finished eating then me and aya got in the car driving to school

Aya: you know moms right y/n even i have a boyfriend and i'm younger than you
Y: i just don't want one whenever i find one then i'll get one but right now no boy fits my standards
Aya: if you say so

y/n rolls her eyes and continued driving to school when she made it they got out and walked inside the school building as soon as she did she spotted a group of guys looking at her but she continued walking until she made it to her locker and tried to use the lock but continued failing miserably slowly getting pissed off

??: do you need help
Y: yes please

y/n moved aside and the girl walked up to her locker standing in front of the lock

??: what's your code
Y: oh twelve fourteen three two

the girl put the code in then once it unlocked she handed the lock to y/n

Y: thank you now i'm gonna need you to do that for a few more weeks

y/n says lightly laughing causing the girl to laugh also

??: of course so what's your name
Y: y/n and yours
Isa: isa
Y: ok well thank you isa
Isa: no problem

isa walked away and y/n put her books in her locker then put the lock back on and walked off going to her first class which she had a little trouble finding causing her to be late when she walked in she saw three of the boys from the group she saw this morning and they looked up at her while she was looking at the teacher making sure she had the right one once the teacher noticed her he turned towards her with an irritated look on his face

Teacher: late on the first day
Y: sorry i had trouble finding this class
Teacher: are you new here
Y: i got here last year so not really i guess
Teacher: anyways don't be late again take a seat next to kobe
Y: i don't know who that is
Teacher: well if you let me finish my sentence you will anyways kobe raise your hand

y/n looked at the teacher like he was crazy then he motioned at her to go take her seat so she rolled her eyes and walked to the seat next to the kobe boy and sat down pulling out her books paying attention to class after that long boring class the rest of the day went by pretty normal until it was time to go y/n waited at her locker for isa to come and when she did she opened her lock for her again

Y: thank you once again
Isa: no problem so how was your first day of senior year
Y: ehh boring
Isa: same can i get your number so we can hang out i'm actually pretty new here
Y: oh yea of course

i handed my phone to isa watching her put her number in then i saved her contact name and thanked her once more grabbing my books and locking my locker again then walked out going into the parking lot once again seeing the group of boys just talking i recognized the kobe one from class today but i just minded my business and got inside my car starting it up i was about to pull off competent forgetting about aya until i saw isa jogging towards my car so i rolled my window down looking at her

Isa: sorry um do you think you can take me home i missed the bus
Y: yea of course hop in

isa walked to the other side of the car about to open the door until one of the guys from the group called her name

Isa: what
??: who's that girl you're getting in the car with
Isa: why do you care
??: we wanna know her name
Isa: yea not a chance in hell everyone knows y'all reputation she's not gonna be another one of your pawns

the boys laughed and isa rolled her eyes getting in the car and buckling her seat belt y/n was on her phone texting aya to tell her to hurry up so she didn't even hear what the boys or isa said once aya came they drove off taking isa home first

Isa: thank you
Y: anytime

isa waved and y/n waved back then she waited until she made it in safe and she pulled off driving home

Aya: who's she
Y: my friend
Aya: yay you finally have a friend
Y: shut up aya
