derek looked down shaking his head and smiling then he looked back up at y/n and kissed her and she kissed him back then he pulled away and just hugged her resting his head on top of hers

y/n smiled and since her head was pressed against dereks chest he felt it making him smile too they stayed like that for a little bit longer until dereks phone buzzed so he gently moved and answered
D/m: where are you Derek: at the beach D/m: when do you plan on coming home Derek: uhh an hour or two D/m: ok be home in no more than two hours your abuelita wants to see you Derek: yes ma'am
derek hung up then told y/n so they went back to isas house and when they made they got out going inside and y/n grabbed his gift off the table then they walked to her room going in and locking the door then once derek sat on the bed she handed it to him and he opened it then looked at her
Derek: you didn't have to do this Y: i did though Derek: thank you Y: of course i have two more though Derek: this is enough y/n Y: too bad
y/n went to the other side of her bed and pulled the other gift out handing it to him and once he looked at it and thanked her then she sat next to him
Derek: ok so what's the next one Y: ok for this you have to close your eyes Derek: again Y: trust me you're gonna love it i hope Derek: i'll love it if it's from you Y: alright eyes closed Derek: alright
once derek closed his eyes y/n got up going into the bathroom and locking the door twenty minutes past and she came back out
Derek: can i look now Y: yup
derek opened his eyes and he stared at y/n who was standing there with a ribbon tied lingerie piece on
Derek: happy birthday to me Y: so you like it Derek: like is a huge understatement Y: good because i'm probably never doing this again Derek: forget that for now let me unwrap my gift
y/n smiled and walked to derek letting him "unwrap" his gift after that she was laying down with her face buried in the pillow and her hair all over her peacefully sleep then derek got up kissing her head and getting dressed then walking out and getting in his car driving home once he made it he fixed his hair in his car then he walked inside instantly being drowned in kisses and hugs

derek laughed a little while his grandma ruffled his hair then he walked upstairs going into his room and sitting on his bed when ahiella came in with a cake and started singing happy birthday to him then celia came in behind her and his smile went away

celia left out and derek sighed throwing his head back then he got up getting in the shower washing his hair and he started thinking of y/n then in the middle he started thinking about celia so he shook his head and finished showering then got out drying off and laying down he couldn't sleep so he tossed and turned in the bed then he pulled out his phone calling y/n and when she answered she had her hair in a bun and she was laying down
Derek: good to see you're awake Y: i just got up to shower i'm so tired Derek: i bet you are Y: haha very funny Derek: thank you for today Y: yea you're welcome Derek: celia um came over Y: oh what she say Derek: telling me happy birthday none much Y: well that's nice Derek: i guess Y: you seem like somethings bothering you Derek: i just miss you Y: you can come back over Derek: i know but my head is all over the place right now i need time to think about crap Y: ok well i'm going to sleep you can stay on the phone if you want or hang up and think Derek: it's fine i'll stay Y: ok goodnight i love you Derek: i love you too
y/n faced the other way balling up and falling asleep while derek stayed up thinking
