y/n sat up on derek and just looked down at him then she placed her hands on his face

y/n kissed derek then she laid back down and soon they fell asleep once they woke up she went to valentinas room doing her morning routine then she took her downstairs to play while she went back upstairs getting in the shower and derek got in with her putting shampoo in her hair and making castles out of it while she laughed and did the same to him once they got out they dried off and got dressed then derek picked y/n up and she wrapped her legs around his waist
Derek: you're the best person i could ever ask for
Y: what makes you say that
Derek: i have no idea but now i feel like a damn simp

Derek: no usually in movies i'm the kind that gets their heartbroken
Y: well this isn't a movie
Derek: yea this feels like one of those books were you dump me
Y: if this were a book which it isn't it would definitely have you as the guy who fucks up a good ten times and i a helpless lover that comes back again and again until we live happily ever after

derek and y/n laughed then they kissed before y/n hopped down then hours past and soon it was midnight so y/n and derek did valentinas night routine and put her to sleep then she grabbed dereks hand walking downstairs and out the door with him then they sat down at the end of the driveway looking at the city lights and talking then ashley came out and sat next to y/n
Derek: but maybe it'll be nice for a new landscape one better than new york what about miami
Y: why miami new york is perfectly fine for us it's where valentina grew up we can't just take that away from her
Derek: baby come on she'll be a year old in two months what more is she gonna remember than the pretty lights
Y: some memories that affect someone the most sticks with them their whole life and what if living here is one of those memories for her
Derek: if she grows up and decides she wants to go back then so be it but i personally don't like it here i mean the memories are beautiful but i feel like i need that more exciting part in my life and miami brings that
Y: we're constantly moving hours and hours away from our previous location it gets tiring after a while
Derek: just this last time then we can stay as long as you want
Y: what about vegas
Derek: i thought you didn't want to be close to home
Y: i didn't but it'll bring some comfort knowing i'm not days away from everything i grew up from i feel disconnected from my past and that's what i'm scared will happen to valentina if we decide to move again
Derek: what if we discuss this later and on her first birthday we'll come up with a solution then
Y: yea that's a better option
Ashley: for real because this conversation is getting so very boring
Y: girl when did you get here
Ashley: five or ten minutes ago enough to hear that y'all are moving and it better not be without me
Y: of course i wouldn't move without my favorite person in the world

ashley pulled her sucker out of her mouth and kissed y/ns cheek then she got up walking off swaying and humming then once she went inside y/n turned to derek

derek laughed along with y/n then after a few more hours of talking they got up walking back inside and sitting down on the couch with the others while derek wrapped his arm around y/ns shoulder pulling her closer to him
