once they were packed y/n got valentina and kehlani from dereks mom room and walked out getting in the car and y/n got in the drivers seat and they drove off to the airport riding in silence until y/n felt her eyes watering so she kept fighting back her tears until they parked at the airport then she looked at carmen and when they saw they were both on the verge of tears they let them pour out breaking down completely after a while of them crying they wiped their eyes then grabbed their bags as well as the kids walking inside and paying for tickets to vegas then sat in their seats letting tears gently fall down their faces

??: now why would a pretty lady like you be crying
Y: i really don't want to talk right now
??: that may be the case but no one deserves to be crying in this beautiful country
Y: someone who got played two weeks before their wedding should
??: oof i'm sorry
Y: no it's fine the story of my life is being played and being told last minute so i'm used to it

quincy smiled then walked off and y/n looked at carmen and she nudged y/n so she handed valentina to carmen and got up walking up to him

Y: ...sorry for how rude i was it's just today has not been a good day and being played two weeks before my wedding wasn't really how i saw this going so my bad i promise i'm cooler than this
Quincy: i bet you are and nah it's fine not every girl is gonna be willing to talk after being heartbroken you know so you're making more progress than most for sure

quincy looked at y/n smiling and she smiled back wiping her tears

Y: i don't usually ask guys this but can i maybe have your number

y/n looked at quincy and he shook her hand then once he walked off she opened it seeing a paper with his number on it and she looked up smiling at him while he waved his hand

Quincy: gonna have to make you get used to stuff you don't usually do

quincy turned around smiling at y/n then he turned back around and continued walking while y/n walked back to carmen sitting down

Carmen: girl he's cute
Y: yea he is

y/n grabbed valentina then looked back at the direction he walked in until their flight was called so they got up walking to the entrance gate and walking inside after that they sat in their seats and y/n bounced valentina up and down making her laugh once their flight took off hours and hours past until they finally landed in vegas so they stood up stretching and y/n picked up valentina carrying her while she slept after all that they got their bags then got a cab to their new house and as soon as they made it to the door y/n heard someone yell her name so she turned her head

Quincy: looks like we're neighbors
Y: how'd you get here so fast
Quincy: i have my ways
Y: what ways
Quincy: get to know me and i'll show you
Y: you're giving me very mysterious vibes i like it
Quincy: nothing fun about a personality unless it's mysterious

y/n walked inside with carmen and they looked around observing the whole house

Carmen: so much space
Y: and it's only us four
Carmen: well let's make this a home
Y: alright challenge accepted

carmen and y/n walked upstairs picking rooms for valentina and kehlani and for themselves then while y/n sat her bag in the corner still holding valentina carmen came in the room sitting next to her with kehlani in her arms

Carmen: we don't have any furniture
Y: yea i'm realizing that
Carmen: well i'm sleeping in here i guess
Y: same we'll buy furniture tomorrow
Carmen: goodnight bitch and tomorrow starts a day of new beginnings
Y: cheers to that but goodnight babes

carmen laid down with kehlani while y/n made sure to call some furniture places to get their beds and couches then once she was done she laid down looking at the ceiling thinking to herself about everything that happened then her mind drifted to derek so she fell asleep
