The neon lights of Hell's underbelly flickered as the night unfolded. Angel Dust, ever the charismatic performer, had just finished another grueling shift at the club. The vibrant energy he usually exuded was noticeably absent as he trudged towards a secluded corner of the backstage area. Y/n, who had recently started working at the club in a more administrative role, had taken on the role of confidante for the staff. Sensing Angel's distress, Y/n approached him, her concern evident.

"Angel, you've seemed off lately. Is everything okay?" Y/n asked gently.

Angel Dust looked up, his eyes shadowed with a mix of exhaustion and something deeper—pain he had been trying to mask. He hesitated before responding, struggling to find the words that had been trapped inside him for too long.

"I... I need to tell you something," Angel began, his voice unsteady. "It's about Valentino."

Y/n listened intently, her face reflecting concern as Angel continued.

"I don't even know how to say this... Valentino touched me. More than once. Without my permission." His voice cracked, the façade of bravado crumbling as he spoke. "He used his power and his position to make me do things I didn't want to. I thought I had to just accept it, you know? I thought maybe I was just being dramatic or weak."

Y/n's eyes widened, a mix of shock and anger flaring up. "Angel, that's horrific. I'm so sorry you had to go through that."

Angel looked down, the weight of his confession sinking in. "It's not just that. It's... it's hard for me to talk about it. The way people react when they find out a man is abused—it's like they don't believe it or think it's not as serious. They expect us to just 'man up' or deal with it. So, I kept it to myself, thinking it was my fault or that I should just get over it."

Y/n shook her head, her expression a mix of empathy and frustration. "That's completely wrong. Abuse is abuse, no matter who it happens to. Men face the same pain and trauma, and they deserve support just as much as anyone else. Society needs to understand that and change its perception."

Angel Dust nodded, a tear slipping down his cheek. "I know. I guess I've been waiting for someone to say that—someone to make me feel like it's okay to speak up and not be ashamed."

Y/n reached out, placing a comforting hand on Angel's shoulder. "It's not your fault, Angel. And you're not alone. We'll find a way to get you the help you need. You deserve to feel safe and respected."

Angel's shoulders relaxed slightly, a sense of relief washing over him. "Thank you, Y/n. It means more than you know."

As they sat together in the dim light, Y/n felt a renewed sense of determination. The conversation wasn't just about supporting Angel; it was about challenging the societal norms that invalidated men's experiences. It was about advocating for a world where everyone's pain was taken seriously and where all victims of abuse, regardless of gender, could find the help and understanding they deserved.
