"Wow, Kevin! The weather is perfect for some ice cream, don't you think?"
"Absolutely! I could use something sweet to cool off. Let's go to that new ice cream parlor."
Ice cream parlor.
I say ooking at the menu. "There are so many flavors to choose from. What are you in the mood for, Kevin?"
"Hmm, how about a classic chocolate sundae?"
"Sounds delicious! I'll have a strawberry cone."
Iceman scoops our ice creams. "Here you go, lovebirds. Enjoy your date!"
"Oh no, we're not dating. We're just good friends."
Kevin laughs. "Yeah, not yet."
"Kevin!" He makes me blush.
"Well, enjoy your ice creams anyway. You two make a cute couple."
"Thank you, but we're really just friends. Right, Kevin?" If he doesn't agree I know a hamster and a blonde girl who will make him do it.
"Absolutely, just friends. But who knows what the future holds?"
"True. Let's focus on enjoying our ice creams for now."
We both enjoy our ice creams and continue our conversation.
