Megan POV
Me: And one, two, three!" I cooed carefully putting Kaili up into the air.
Placing her down in the bed, she giggled uncontrollably as I did it again.
Me: One, two..three!" I flew her again.
Placing her back on the bed, her laughter was tiny as it put a smile on my face to hear it.
Standing her straight up in the bed, even though she couldn't stand I pretended she was walking as I helped her.
Me: One foot after the other baby girl." I giggled as her feet twisted all kinds of ways.
Trey: You know she is too little for you to be trying to walk her." he said as I sucked my teeth.
Me: The earlier you start the faster they will learn." I said as I heard him snort.
Trey: And where the hell did you hear that?" he mocked.
Me:..Somewhere." I couldn't remember.
Me: I heard it from somewhere." I repeated as he came up behind me.
Kissing the side of my cheek, he leaned down and kissed his daughter as she smiled toothlessly.
Me: Heading out?"
Trey: Nah, not today. I'm staying home." he said as that sparked up my interest.
Me: Staying home, why?"
Trey: No reason, I just don't feel like going into the office." he shrugged as I playfully rolled my eyes.
Me: You know nothing is wrong for you to just say you are staying home today for me." I teased as he chuckled.
Me: And the kids." I added.
Earning a light tap on my butt, he headed for the door as I looked over at him.
Trey: Make sure you ain't doing nun later."
Me: Why, what's later?"
Trey: Found someone to do yo dress." he said as I softly smiled.
Hearing him go back downstairs, I blushed to myself as he pulled through for me again. Mirroring my smile, Kaili earned a kiss from me before I placed her down for her nap.
Seeing the empty spot next to her, her brother Kane was not here as he was probably in the hands of one of his uncles.
Laying her down, she whined a little but soon relaxed as I swaddled her. Getting her nice and tucked in, I made sure she was okay before turning the monitor on and facing it in her direction.
Blowing her many kisses, I grabbed the extra monitor and left the room as I turned it on. Making sure I turned the volume up, a scream from my oldest daughter made me look up at her.
