Xia Yao's POV

No, no, no! This couldn't be happening right now. What was Yuan Zong even doing here, all by himself? Didn't he have something better to do? No wanting to get caught by him, I quickly went to the bathroom, did my business and went back to the others.

"Is everything okay? You look like you've seen a ghost." Peng Ze noticed.

"Huh? Yeah, everything is okay. Can we just go?" I looked around, trying to find Yuan Zong, but he was nowhere to be found. This was weird. Wasn't he just here a minute ago?

"What? No." They all said.

"Please? We can just go to your house, Peng Ze." I suggested.

"What's up with you, why do you want to leave all of a sudden? You sure that everything is alright?"

"Hmm. Positive." I was starting to feel a bit nervous. What if Yuan Zong saw us? Would he think badly of me then, knowing I enjoyed a couple of drinks with friends? Whatever. I shouldn't care and I didn't care.

"Xia Yao!" Da Yu snapped.

"Jeez. What is up with you? Did you see an alien in the bathroom or what?"

"I just saw Yuan Zong, guys."

"Your boss?" Zhi Shui asked quietly. I nodded.

"Yep. Our boss." Peng Ze looked around, Yuan Zong still nowhere in sight.

"Xia Yao... He isn't here."

"He is!" I snapped. There was no way it was all my imagination. I wasn't crazy. He was here, I saw him!

"How about I order us all a couple more drinks? My treat." Peng Ze offered and I was glad he did. I needed to clear my fricking head or else I really was going crazy.

"Calm down, Xia Yao. Slow." Da Yu said, after I literally gulped the drinks down my throat, feeling the alcohol burn.

"Let's all let loose tonight, not give a damn about anything." I consumed more and more alcohol, feeling myself start to get tipsy. Man, did this feel good. I completely forgot everything around me.

"This is not how I imagined our first meeting to go." Peng Ze said and Da Yu laughed.

"It's actually quite funny. Let the poor boy have some fun!" He cheered and I smiled at him.

"Yessss!" I slurred. I wasn't usually a big drinker, only went out for a drink every once in a while, but I really felt like getting drunk tonight. Even though I knew that I was going to regret it tomorrow morning. Thank god it was the weekend and I did not have to work.

"Alright. No more drinks."

"Peng Zeeee! Gimme more drinks!" I pouted. I must have looked like a complete child and must have acted like a complete idiot aswell.

"No. You already had five drinks, with a lot of alcohol in them, too." I quickly grabbed his drink and drank it fast.

"Hehe! I took your driiiiiink!" He rolled his eyes at me, pushing a glass of water towards me.

"No. Don't wanna." I crossed my arms over my chest, pouting.

He sighed. "Alright, let's get you home, Xia Yao."
