Peng Ze's POV

It was currently 7 PM on a friday night. I usually went out to clubs on the weekends, but for some reason I didn't feel like going out this time. A couple days ago, I came home, only to see Zhen Zhen gone, along with his all his belongings. We had agreed, that he would stay here, with me and I really didn't expect him to go, to leave me. But he did. And I really didn't know what to think of that at all. I do admit, that I had overracted, but I was just so upset in that moment and I couldn't help it. I was so damn angry at that moment that I completely went off on Zhen Zhen. I hurt me to see him leave. He looked so hurt and I was to blame for. I was getting angry just thinking about how stupid I was. Zhen Zhen was his own person, he could do whatever he wanted and mess around with whomever he wanted. It was his own body and he was in charge of his own body. And who was I?

Oh, right. Only his fuckbuddy.

I didn't have a say in anything he chose to do. I shouldn't even be jealous. But yet I was.

I decided to call him and apologize for my actions, but I was sure that he wasn't going to pick up my calls. But I still dialed his number.

Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.

I angrily hung up and threw my phone across the room. I knew he wasn't going to to answer any of my calls and I was right. Maybe I could talk to Xia Yao about it? I went over to the other side of my bedroom and grabbed my phone again, that has somehow landed on my pillow and I called Xia Yao, who thankfully picked up.

"Peng Ze? What's up?"

"Hey, can I come over? And do you know where Zhen Zhen is?"

"Yeah, of course you can come over. And Zhen Zhen is currently at the mall, he said he needed to pick up something from the post office."

"So, he isn't home?" I asked.

"No, he is not." I let out a sigh of relief. I wasn't ready to face Zhen Zhen yet and I was sure that he also needed time. And also, what if he didn't even want to see me?

"Alright, I'll be over in a bit." I told him and hung up.

I had to talk to Xia Yao about it. After all, he did know Zhen Zhen better than I did and he's been in a relationship with Yuan Zong for quite some time now, too. Surely he could tell me what to do. I felt so guilty for being such an asshole towards Zhen Zhen. And I didn't even know why I had acted like that. He was his own person, he could do whatever he wanted. Yet I acted like I owned him, like he was mine. But he wasn't. And he was never going to be mine. He was probably going to go back home soon anyway. And I would never ever see him again.

After grabbing my car keys and my jacket, I drove straight to the adresse that Xia Yao had texted me. After a wrong turn and 15 minutes later, I finally arrived at their house. Well, it was a mansion, really.
