Been spoiling you guys by updating three times in a row, to make up for the lack of Updates these past couple of weeks. 😊 PS: just now noticed that I forgot to press publish yesterday, so its a day late. I'm such an idiot, ugh.
Btw, if you dont remember: Huan Lige is Yuan Ru's and Xia Yao's co- worker, who has a crush on Xia Yao. Both Yuan Zong and Xia Yao know about it, too.

Xia Yao's POV
I stood there and just stared at them, with my mouth hanging wide open. Now why the hell would Yuan Ru bring Huan Lige along? I didn't even dare to look at Yuan Zong, I was damn sure that he was furious. I mean, I couldn't really blame him for that. I would have been jealous too, knowing that someone else had a crush on my Yuan Zong.
"Xia Yao! Hey!" Huan Lige squealed and rushed over to me for a hug. I awkwardly hugged her back, not knowing what else to do.
"Uhm, hey...."
"Hello, boss! Yuan Ru told me that you took Xia Yao in, after his house burned down. That's so nice of you! If he told me that, I'd have let him stay over at my place, too!" Hold on... since when did my house burn down?
It was way too early for all this and I already wanted to go and take a nap.
"Yuan Ru, come over here, please." Yuan Zong said and called her over to us.
"Now why the hell would you think that bringing her over to our house, would be such a bright idea?" Yuan Zong scolded her.
"I panicked, okay! It wasn't my fault, she grabbed my phone right when Xia Yao had texted me and demanded on coming with me." She whined and I kind of felt bad for her.
"Why didn't you come up with an excuse, then!?" He was really angry at her. I gently placed my arm on his shoulder and squeezed to somewhat calm him down, which he did.
"Calm down, please. Let's just get this done and over with." I suggested and Yuan Ru agreed, walking over to Huan Lige.
"Act calm, alright? I know you dont like her and I dont either, but you're still her boss. Dont do things you'll later on regret, babe." I told him, making sure that no one heard me.
"I'm only doing this for you. It's inappropriate for me to have one of my workers over at my house." I gave him a look, as if to say really?
"It's inappropriate for you to be fucking your assistant, too."
"Careful, Xia Yao..."
"Or what? You're gonna punish me?" I whispered, smirking.
"I will have to, yes." I looked around and saw that both Yuan Ru and Huan Lige weren't in sight, so I took the chance to give Yuan Zong a quick kiss.
"Xia Yao!" I heard her call and I rolled my eyes, feeling annoyed already.
"Will you be joining us or are you going upstairs?" I asked Yuan Zong.
